Hi Rob, Nice rig. Sounds great. Last Sunday was very loud but glorious lol. I have decided I have to stop playing it safe and try some new sounds. I have just got a second Laney lfr12 and I am interested in trying stereo for the first time. I had a look on the cortex cloud and I don’t think your rig from this video is public.
Looking forward to Brother Strut at the Jazz cafe this weekend.

That sounds great, Rob. Great explanation! While I dont use the Cortex, I can still use the setting in my stereo g-system rig! Many thanks.

    Hi Rob,
The RIG sounds really good! I haven't tried a stereo/2 amp setup myself yet. Do you use just the Cortex for gigs, or do you have a pedalboard as well? I've had some trouble transitioning to the Cortex after using a basic setup (amp + pedalboard), so I built my setup in a way that keeps the basic pedals in the same place as before, with the Cortex handling the amp and cab. I've also tweaked it to include a wah and whammy, etc. This stereo setup is a great addition and definitely worth trying out!

Hi Rob. Great video and tone in no-time. Great tip on get the stereo sound. Quick hint: you can set stomps and scene assignments on the Quad Control App clicking on the bottom menu “Gig View”: then your switches layout will appear on screen and can easily configured and used on screen :-)

How would this work when adding external pedals as well? Say reverbs/delays...

Great video, Rob. The rig sounds great. I’m trying to set up a hybrid rig where I send stereo to FOH out of XLR outputs 1 + 2, but only a mono signal out of Send 3. Reason for the mono send is that I prefer to run an amp model with no cab IR into a power amp (Fryette PS100) and then into a real guitar cab (Jackson 1x12 side-ported with an Alnico Cream). I just prefer the real guitar cab to an FRFR.
In a perfect world, I would have two power amps and guitar cabs, and run stereo to FOH AND real cabs, as you are doing with FOH and two FRFRs; but I only have the one Fryette, so I’m scratching my head a bit to get all the wet FX after the amps and still go stereo FOH with mono real cab.
I suspect the only solution might have to be dual mono FOH, and then one side mono to the Fryette. If anyone in this chat has a routing solution, I would be greatly appreciative!

Hi Rob, great vid, lovely sound and wonderful playing, thank you. I've looked on Cortex Cloud however, and can't find this particular rig under your name. Any ideas? 🙏🏻

Hi Rob! Very well presented. I like the on-screen QC Control window in order to follow all the steps. One question: how much of a difference is the Noble in the QC from the real one in front of the QC?

Hey Werner. I haven't AB tested them. I just like having the pedal down there to tweak when needed.
