    I've had four concussion, one that was pretty horrible so my balance it utter crap. However, I keep working on my trackstands and my ratcheting and my tiny circles. And even with my lack of balance, it's made me a 100 times better than I was before. Trackstands are incredibly underrated in my humble opinion. If they can improve my riding, I think they could improve anyone's riding!

    Jeff: Superb demonstration and coaching/teaching on the rear wheel lift to reposition it. I'd always tried that w/o using the front brake. Now I know you need to use it and also start the rotation before leaving the ground. Thanks!

    Hey Jeff, really good video, very clear instruction on what/how to do 👍 Gona mention one thing, think you need to throw links to your sponsors products you use down in the video description, would help those interested check out whatever parts they see and like that you're using - had to go search a bit to find the Agarro tyres, they look quite interesting.

    Skinnies is the only thing I'm really good at. Unsurprisingly it's also the only thing I practice every ride. Usually a 5 minute track stand and then at least one or two laps of a long curved curb. I'd go farther than not looking down at the front wheel, look at the horizon instead. Your brain knows where your tires are, you actually don't need to see them.

    why does Mt. Creek have you turn right before the skinny progression drops? I wish there was more of a straight away into the skinny drops.

    • @JeffLenoskyTrailBoss
      @JeffLenoskyTrailBoss  2 роки тому +1

      That design isn’t perfect but learning drops going slow is definitely the best plan. Start small and slow. Dial in that technique. As you go bigger and increase speed you just need to do less. It’s always easier to learn going slow which requires the most amount of technique and then dial it back vs going fast and then trying to figure out how to do more when a drop requires slow speed. Make sense?

    It looks like you often brake with your 2 fingers, mostly when you are holding your bike with one hand. Is it just an impression or what ? Anyway thanks for valuable tips.

      That is SOOOO WEIRD!! I never noticed that. That's absolutely something I must be doing when I stand and talk because definitely don't do it on the trail!
