- "We always bring the train home, even if only on one cylinder."
On a cold winter night, one little tank engine makes sure that the trains keep on running.

What's this? A video from me that isn't a re-dubbing of Flying Scotsman in The Great Race?! :O
Also, I know spring isn't the typical time of year to upload a story set in Winter, but hey! Climate change is making it snow in April, anything can happen.
In all seriousness, with this little video, I felt like a return to simpler times, back to those shorts where I didn't rely on dialogue to tell a little story.
While a good script is very important, it's always good to have practice with purely visual storytelling, after all visuals are an advantage film has over written media, may as well use it. ;)
Hope you guys enjoy this little video, and I'll see you all next time! =D
The music is 'Vuelie' by Frode Fjellheim and the sound effects are from G.W. Shunter.
The Little J50 That Could....
anyways... Fantastic Video!
You know it might have been possible for a J50 to meet up with a Clayton 7f. J50's where located in England, Scotland, and some dotted areas in Wales. Since the S&D runs on all three grounds as a boarder joint, there just might have been a brief meeting between both engines at one of the five joint line edges.
Bytotiful. I like how atmospheric the music was with the visuals as the J50 helped the Blue BR 7F home. Great work.
+Percyfan1998 Thanks man! When you put it like that, you realise my disregard for historical accuracy when the LNER J50 helps the BR 7F ;P
+TheScotsmanReturns Hey, could always be a 'preservation' railway that never existed. ;)
Lovely all around! Great choice of music, and the cinematography was spectacular. The first shot of the station in the sunrise looked like a work of art! Wonderful job!
anyone else in tears of the sight of bath green park
Simply beautiful, I can't describe it in any other more effective way. Very good work. ;)
Midsomer Norton! On the S&D! :-)
The music in this video really reminds me of the opening to "Frozen". But, nonetheless, this was a great video and it really felt beautiful and cinematic!!!!! :D
It is the opening to Frozen. I think their opening is a bit shorter though.
Lovely angles here man! This is a beautiful video!
I love what you did with this video! The song is very beautiful, as well as the unspoken story behind it. :3
Ooh frozen’s opening music nice choice.👍
I love the J50, they look so nice! They are one of my favorite classes of engines! I LOVE IT!
Good to See the J50 Return for another awesome video.
This is so heart melting , music is extremely good, I love it so much 100 percent. GREAT , EXSTRORDANERY
This was beautiful and you are right...sometimes its good to go back to a more simple, straight forward story. It really was a story without words and you nailed it! Congrats!
This was very lovely, the angles were well chosen, good job :)
+Cowcatchers And Sideplates Thanks man! :)
This is better at the visuals and mixing it with the music than some films i've watched. Also, though the story and idea is great (and the inclusion of a j50 since Rocky road to Dumfries), I don't think there were LNER locomotives on the Slow and Dirty, let alone a j50. Great work anyway.
Great video, love the fact a J50 is used to bring the train home!
+TheTrainmaster97 Thanks! I just generally really like how blocky the designs of the J50s are. Proper little workhorses. :P
+TheScotsmanReturns good good :) I love J50s to hence why I started the new build project!!!
Very enjoyable video!
This was lovely Mayoorhan.
At Bath by dawn. The music fits so well by the way, nice job.
heh, when i was listening to the singers in the background, i heard a bit norwegian in there, still fits good, love the vid.
Good clip. Even the music was impressive.
"no watch just do"
This was beautiful well done
+railwaymad60103 Thanks man!
Loved it!😊
Excellent video, lad. Great camera work and choice of music. How did you manage the morning sky? Special effects? Mine is just orange haha
Nice!
It must be the pre LBSC Thomas...
Very nice, Mayo :)
Nice work! :)
I really admire people like you who focus on quality over quantity, which is hard to pull off (especially on youtube these days).
I hope I can make a story as good as the ones you make, dialog or no dialog.
Best of luck to you and your friends, and you future projects (whatever they may be).
When is Rails To Salvation coming out??
J50s yey
Oh, sorry, not Midsomer Norton, I was wrong. But by the way, how did you get that terrific morning glow?
Hey that was pretty good
+10LEIGH10 - Thomas
Thanks maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.
+TheScotsmanReturns probably the best one of these little things you've ever made
Which station is this? Also loved the video
Wyatt Doran whats the game called
Just wondering was the J50's livery blue or black?
The Yorkshire Flyer thanks, to me the J50 looked blue, but then they never came in that livery. Thought it was because of the atmosphere, being in the morning and all...
One dislike.
HOW!!!!
THIS IS AWESOME
You uploaded something that did not involve The Flying Scotsman or Gordon
+TheOtherRailway Yes...yes I did. You are very observant.
+TheScotsmanReturns it is such an honor for you to reply. I watch all of your videos
Norwegian!
