Thank you brother. This is the single most informative video on UA-cam about the eco flow.. if you are able to, could you please do a review on the eco flow river. Working from home in S.A is so tough. I have to decide whether to buy this eco flow in your video or to buy the River 2 and be able to afford myself a pair shoes as well.. that would go a long way
Thanks for watching. So I don't have a River but the River 2 Max is the "better" device. It has more output and capacity than the original version. I would say the "River" is about half the capacity and performance compared to the River 2 Max. So whatever tests I did here, you'll get half the time on the standard River.
@@GLITCHEDZA that makes sense. Thank you, one more question please. After some months, how is the power station keeping its charge and do you think that for a PC with no GPU running a 40’ TV, I would be able to handle loadshedding for a few months. And if the charge is low, would I be able to use pass through with solar even if I’m running low on battery. Stage six makes it so you don’t have enough hours to charge back up power before the power cuts again..Stage 6 is coming back and there is nothing more daunting for me because I work from home. After elections we are going to be plunged into darkness. I get good sunlight so I will supplement
@@jordanmntungwa3311 The charge will last you a long time. Years maybe. These units use the best batteries so the life-span doesn't die over time. You can get 3000 charges in before it starts to affect the life. and charge of the battery. Unlike "Cell| batteries you get in other inverters, they loose life and the more you charge them, the less time they last. You can charge this with solar yes. Keep in mind that you'll need a compatible connector to do that though. Running a PC without a GPU on a 40-inch TV won't be a problem. Remember, you can also enable some "energy saver" modes on your TV to reduce the brightness and keep the battery for longer. Helpful for longer loadshedding sessions.
You can connect it to all the downlights in your house if you want. Just get an electrician to connect the light circuits to an extension cord with a 3-prong plug, then simply connect this to your inverter, and if you need, you can always plug it into the wall if you move the inverter. Just make sure all the lights are LED. (Lights are typically 5W so if you have, say 20 lights in your house ≈ 100w , you could keep everything on for 5-6Hr.
Thank you for your tutorial video about the Ecoflow River Max . Just wanna ask which of these 2 Ecoflows will you say is better , the Ecoflow River 2 Max or the Ecoflow River Pro.
Thanks for watching! The River Pro is better than the River 2 Max. It has a 712Wh battery and 1200W boost output. The River 2 Max only has a 512Wh battery and 1000W boost output.
Can you please check the UPS mode with PS5? I mean turn off the AC power on Ecoflow to check if it can keep the PS5 turned on or it shuts down the ps5 while switching to backup mode. Thanks.
I can confirm this does keep the PS5 turned on. The switch over doesn’t turn electronics off when the power goes off. I have, however had an odd time where my TV would turn off. But my PC and PS5 have always remained on when the power trips and the unit goes into UPS mode.
Just bought my River 2 max amazing review thanks!
I love that you can link and manage through the app.

@@GLITCHEDZA thank you man🤘
I appreciate it.
Seems quite nice and such a good looking device too!

Yes for sure. It would just operate as an external plug source for the lights. Will work without an issue.

@@GLITCHEDZA Thank you so much for your feedback.
Can I power a 27inch gaming monitor and i5 12400, RX6600XT desktop with this?

@@GLITCHEDZA Thats very assuring to hear that. Thanks!
Is it ok to use it as ups with full time plugged in on pwer socket?
Yes. I keep all my EcoFlow UPS plugged in in case the power goes off.
Is your 2 pin adapter loose?
Will it power up my 65 inch tv my router and lamp or light stand
Yes. Should get over two hours of backup with that, If you want more just turn on some power-saving settings on the TV to reduce the brightness.
Can you power a hike crew portable water heater with this?
That specific device has an incredibly high power consumption of 5000w. This can only pump out 1300 so definitely won't work.
I want I ecoflow delta 2 max BC lode shedding sucks
Goot get this after election week lmao
