As someone who likes to defy the norm, the first was pretty good and easily understood, the second one gets you thinking and looks more like scribble so takes my mind to something art related. The first is better in my opinion but the second is outside the box.
I like your approach to creating your logo but I think the other designer's logo gets the idea of communicating feedback more clearly. The stylized scribble doesn't express the idea of feedback to me - it doesn't remind me of a speech bubble. I also see how the other design could be considered cliche - and I liked your idea of creating a stylized speech bubble - I think I expected it to look a little more like a speech bubble.
I prefer the second logo. I was thinking about using the Blend Tool on two Circles for Gradient and adding it to the spine of the path. I'm not sure about the exactly result, but the Gradient should follow the path better.Since i'm still in training i'll have to try it.
I don’t see a speech bubble at all. I see a scribble, which alone is just a scribble. Together with the text, I think it might be a brand that does editing for text. Reminds me of red pen marks on my term reports.
BRO SATORI usually i agree with you but this time around only thing i agree with is that the 2nd is better then the 1st, other then that the 2nd one doesn't feel like a chatbox or anything that can bring to mind anything closely related to that, visually it looks muchhh better but that maybe due to the gradient. if anything the 2nd logo brings to mind storm or scribbles. scribbles can be a good thought process for commenting on deisgnsss.
Thanks for the feedback. The main aspect of a logo is to be memorable. It's actually a common misconception that a logo needs to represent what a brand does, this is largely insignificant and so I'm not that worried about what the symbol represents as such 👍
IMO, the first one looks and defines the brand better, even if it looks too generic. You could have adjusted the tone of it, maybe. I also looked at the second logo without watching the video first, and I figured it was either a tornado, or as someone else said, a poop upside down, and couldn't figure out what the brand could be about without reading the name, so I don't think it's as effective. It's hard to see it as a speech bubble.
I like the type choice. But for once I disagree with you here... I still think the logo mark isn't great. The gradient line is "ok" also feels cliche. I believe if a logo is going to head in this direction, it could use that extra touch that connects the visual with the business. This feels like it belongs to a content writing company, thus the scribble mark. This is just my opinion obviously. Keep up the good work.
Original design was a good idea but looks straight out of the 1990s. I definitely like the new logo but was rather dubious when you started working on it. Looked a bit like an inverted pile of poo at the very start. Completed logo evokes images tornadic energy and movement. Has a good vibe. Have to say, I really enjoy your videos and learn quite a bit. I've graduated from complete crap tshirt designs to marginal. Well, it's a start and headed in the right direction. :)> Cheers.
I love the logo it is perfect , but I kinda feel more like it is a line from a pencil or smth like when you are just messing around when you are making logo ideas and this actually works for me better the the dialoge box that it is
Really like the abstract mark, the colouring and symbol for some reason makes me what if a Sharpie pen were made a glow stick version. 5:56, I understand the idea of being clichéd, however sometimes imo that can be a good thing, depending on how it's executed, but do prefer the newer version. Perhaps using some of the original, maybe the speech bubble could somehow be incorporated as a negative space element may have been an option, being mindful not to over complicate or overwhelm the design overall. I would be interested in how long it took to come up with the abstract idea and how long your research process was?
great video - and I really like the new logo. One thing I'm very curious since I follow your vides for a while now - how do you create your videos? all those animations seem like they are a TON of work and I have no clue how you put those out so frequently.
That's a pretty weak observation. That's like saying the Mcdonalds logo looks like an upside down W, or the Tesla logo looks like an upside down unicorn head lol. Unless you have a some sort of physical problem to where your head is always upside down, I don't think you have a point there
@@SatoriGraphicsThe Tesla logo doesn't look like a unicorn upside down. It does look like a spike when turned upside down however which was intentional since it's based on a spoke. Logos aren't always looked at in an upright position. This is how you end up with phallic logos.
@@SatoriGraphics bro, it does look like an upside down poo tho. that was the first thing I though and I look in the comment section and someone else beat me to it. & I'm not surprised. logos are viewed from multiple different angles.

I like the standard version for the logo. The animation works quite nicely too.
The second is much better in my opinion
cheers for the feedback!
Love the second logo - very eye catching and the animation is on point 🙌🏼

The animation is really solid.

Awesome video as always. I would love to see a tutorial on how you do your videos. Do you create your own motion graphics or source them?
Thank you so much sir for important information ❤❤
Most welcome
I like the second one, but I think the first one fits the product better. Maybe something in between?
Though I think the first one fits the product more, I still like the second one. Perhaps something in the center?

Please create a video on this topic How to self learn graphic design from beginner
the second logo looks cool but also looks like something like something else when inverted
Welcome Teacher ❤
thanks :)
Can i know what typeface is used there?
♥️
kudos on the first comment once again 🏅
Unfortunately the shape looks like an upside down poop 💩
then don't look at it upside down XD

@@CaptainLaikasilly girl, it isn't open to critique. Go watch a more humble graphic designer Will Patterson. there is a proper community there.
