Pretty impressive: Brane X half its size and giving the big boys a run for their money. I would use the JBL Party Box for BBQs and pool parties. It has more projection than the Brane. The Brane X however goes to Daddy's basement. No body lays a finger on Daddys new Brane X speaker. Been waiting for this match up for some time. Thanks
It plays much deeper than the party box, I just don't have a microphone that can pickup the frequencies. I played the "War of the Worlds" pod scene and it truly was hitting some of those infrasonic frequencies below 20hz.
@@JoshsGadgetsandMore I remember them saying it's really efficient. How many watts? How's the battery life? I just got a Google home max on ebay. It plays all the way down to 33Hz on ~120 watts rms.
@@JoshsGadgetsandMore Yeah, it's pretty much only good for bass and nothing else. Although I'm not interested in this speaker I can't say the same about its bass technology. If all the new speakers on the market enveloped this tech moving forward, it will be a game changer. If a speaker this size can reach 20Hz with decent power, my Partybox Ultimate would easily hit 15Hz with this tech, and that's high-end subwoofers territory. Would be huge.
Holy shit I was just looking for more Brane x reviews and you posted lol. This speaker is going viral, lots more people interested in it. The bass is amazing but the highs sound really bass. Like almost 0 stereo imaging, sounds tinny, weak, dull, and veiled. Pretty unfortunate. Jbl sounds way fuller. Hopefully the second gen is improves on balancing the overall sound. Seems like the bass completely overpowers the other frequencies.
@@subzero8344 it's hard to record, but the BraneX has a super wide stereo image. Almost too wide for some songs, it makes it sound artificial if the song already has a very wide stereo image. I'll try to make a recording highlighting that.

i guess indoors the branex wins in smaller rooms. but in big rooms or outdoors, jbl eins because it spreads the bass and sound way better
jbl bass more hearable . the branex has little more deepbass but its fired downwards and not so much hearable
More videos pretty please!
Is the brane x any good?
@@speakerblowupmanlee5921 it's the real deal for bass, it goes down to 20hz.
Not really. RTINGS already did a review on it. It's nothing special.
@LukeR1M this thing smokes everything I've tried in bass extension. Only my Klipsch home subwoofers beat this little lunchbox sized speaker.
