I feel like a lot of people felt things watching Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I had that movie on VHS and watched it a lot as a kid, and at some point, I started crushing on multiple people.
how is this not more popular? this is legit one of the most funny and creative album concepts i have ran into in a while, all while being catchy musically. I feel like special because I found this. Good luck in future endeavors, I am off to find a man named bus stop.
If I remember correctly, all of the songs are created from real bathroom graffiti she’s encountered over the years. The Playbill review of her show says she collected photos of the graffiti over the course of a decade.
For some of the images, she’s recreated them just to make them more high quality as some of the older images are unreadable. It’s also to make the reveal of some of the punch lines more hilarious by digitally altering them to hide the punchline. (If you’ve listened to conversations with strangers, you’ve definitely seen this with the first lines and how it hides the second part.)
I'm absolutely blown away. This is brilliant. raw and insightful oh yeah and motherfuckin hilarious. Autoplay recommended landed me on thank God for sluts maybe 15 minutes ago and after 3 more tracks im so impressed and will never leave the house not packing a healthy assortment of sharpies just in case...and fucking pathetically or perhaps perfectly.. 39 years of life and this is the only time an artist/song whatever has EVER initiated any action in my life.. even if its just sharpies. Its something no one has been able to do....not with everything in their arsenal. Turns out truth and I guess dicks of all shapes and sizes makes me have alot to say.. ok i always have plenty to say...but i absolutely LOVE IT.
