talking into the void cuz i really wanna talk about this this animation inspired me so so much in early middle school. i was really afraid of the future, not sure what my life would become. i wasn’t sure who i would be, what i was put here to do. and lmao covid made that soso much worse then i found this animation. i then realized what i wanted to do. i wanted to tell stories. be they real or fiction, i wanted to create my own small worlds, ones so minuscule yet expansive. it’s been five years since then, and now i’m a sophomore in high school. so much has changed, so much has occurred. and even now my dreams of creating something predominate in my mind. it sounds corny but in a way this animation let me realize who i wanted to be. thank you, from the bottom of my heart
I get that there's some Homestuck looking things in here but can we stop talking about it and start talking about how incredible these OC's are. Like we only get small pieces of their stories and designs but it truly reminds me of one of those amazing dreams with a whole world and cast, but you're missing too many details so it has a meloncholy mystery behind it.
I love how abstract this is. I can tell there's a story, but I can't quite figure out WHAT it is, because it's not simply handed to viewers within the video. There's just the right balance that you can tell something is happening, but aren't certain what it is. I absolutely LOVE that. The color choice is also really well done. The colors are all really bold and at the same time, they are used in such a way that they complement each other rather than being too sharp of a contrast and hurting viewers' eyes. The complete lack of outline colors really adds to this! Without outlines, the colors and shapes have an easy time blending into each other, and when switching from scene to scene its easy to tell what we are looking at. There is also something to be said in how despite the song having nothing to do with the animation, the feeling that you get from both is similar, this sort of feeling of being on another world where the rules are all completely different.
gotta be honest, i wasnt prepared to hear such a masterpiece of a song, and to read such a masterpiece of a comic, although it takes a bit to get into it, it is well worth it. every death makes the reader feel like a part of them has shattered(even if it was on for less then 10 frames) and it always keeps its stakes high, its the best webcomic ive read in really quite a while and the song was the break ive been unknowingly waiting for for a while.
I have little idea of what is happening in this video but everytime I watch I get kinda... sad? I don't know why but it feels like a tragedy that I only know bits and pieces off. Amazing work and I honestly want to learn so much more.

When the beat dropped at 0:30 and all of the bright colors started to flash, I literally GASPED. It’s so gorgeous and so fluidly animated! And I love how I can see the story happening but it’s just enough of a mystery that I am intrigued and wanting more! Going to read the comment immediately now
This carries that vibe of a story that lives on forever and forever because it's so unforgettable it's not allowed to die. This feels like TAZ and Homestuck and all other stories you've either come to love or heard enough about to know they mean something to people, but not enough to know why. I might be horribly wrong, but it seems like several different stories that tie in together by an outside force. Something or someone is influencing certain events that therefore lead to other events in the other stories. I don't understand it all, but its very interesting to watch it all unravel.

The first thing I thought once the chorus hit was that this is the perfect song to explain the importance of stories. And of Bards who tell those stories. The common trope is they're bed hoppers who sing and mess around- but really there's so much power in a story and people overlook that.
Might have already said this, but now, THIS is how you draw words. It was so much more pleasant, and interesting to see the words to the song tilt, or bend to fit with the surroundings.

This is AMAZING and nobody can tell me otherwise. You have this great style mixed with the smooth animation (which, by the way, is scarily good for flipnote) and the colors are bright but don’t clash, you can tell there’s a story but you have to think about it, instead of having it given to you, and the song choice is great. The fact that this was done on Flipnote is a shining example that you don’t need fancy software to create something great. Fantastic job man, it looks absolutely beautiful. It’s the kind of stuff that I can only hope of making some day in the future.

I love this animation so much, I personally enjoy drawings that don’t show too much detail, but enough to recognize what it is. The flow and visuals are so eye catching and smooth, I don’t fully understand the story, but the short and precise sequences makes me feel like it’s an old memory. It shows the important parts, but not all the small stuff and makes me feel a little empty on the inside.

this animation inspired me so so much in early middle school. i was really afraid of the future, not sure what my life would become. i wasn’t sure who i would be, what i was put here to do. and lmao covid made that soso much worse
then i found this animation. i then realized what i wanted to do. i wanted to tell stories. be they real or fiction, i wanted to create my own small worlds, ones so minuscule yet expansive.
it’s been five years since then, and now i’m a sophomore in high school. so much has changed, so much has occurred. and even now my dreams of creating something predominate in my mind. it sounds corny but in a way this animation let me realize who i wanted to be.

I get that there's some Homestuck looking things in here but can we stop talking about it and start talking about how incredible these OC's are. Like we only get small pieces of their stories and designs but it truly reminds me of one of those amazing dreams with a whole world and cast, but you're missing too many details so it has a meloncholy mystery behind it.

I love how abstract this is. I can tell there's a story, but I can't quite figure out WHAT it is, because it's not simply handed to viewers within the video. There's just the right balance that you can tell something is happening, but aren't certain what it is. I absolutely LOVE that. The color choice is also really well done. The colors are all really bold and at the same time, they are used in such a way that they complement each other rather than being too sharp of a contrast and hurting viewers' eyes.
The entire video is just really good. I love it so much. Extremely well done job!

i think flipnote studio 3d only has 6 colors
The complete lack of outline colors really adds to this! Without outlines, the colors and shapes have an easy time blending into each other, and when switching from scene to scene its easy to tell what we are looking at. There is also something to be said in how despite the song having nothing to do with the animation, the feeling that you get from both is similar, this sort of feeling of being on another world where the rules are all completely different.

gotta be honest, i wasnt prepared to hear such a masterpiece of a song, and to read such a masterpiece of a comic, although it takes a bit to get into it, it is well worth it. every death makes the reader feel like a part of them has shattered(even if it was on for less then 10 frames) and it always keeps its stakes high, its the best webcomic ive read in really quite a while and the song was the break ive been unknowingly waiting for for a while.

This carries that vibe of a story that lives on forever and forever because it's so unforgettable it's not allowed to die. This feels like TAZ and Homestuck and all other stories you've either come to love or heard enough about to know they mean something to people, but not enough to know why. I might be horribly wrong, but it seems like several different stories that tie in together by an outside force. Something or someone is influencing certain events that therefore lead to other events in the other stories. I don't understand it all, but its very interesting to watch it all unravel.

The first thing I thought once the chorus hit was that this is the perfect song to explain the importance of stories. And of Bards who tell those stories. The common trope is they're bed hoppers who sing and mess around- but really there's so much power in a story and people overlook that.

It was so much more pleasant, and interesting to see the words to the song tilt, or bend to fit with the surroundings.
I like to do that at my projects (school projects) but my dad said it’s hard to read (and it kinda is sometimes) BUT DAMN IT LOOKS GOOD, it’s like subtitles that are are just subtle(haha funny joke), you still can picture the image without it because of how it blends in so good with the scenario and I don’t know more what I’m saying it’s 1am and my brain has already melted while I listen to this

This is AMAZING and nobody can tell me otherwise. You have this great style mixed with the smooth animation (which, by the way, is scarily good for flipnote) and the colors are bright but don’t clash, you can tell there’s a story but you have to think about it, instead of having it given to you, and the song choice is great. Overall I just love this animation.

I love this animation so much, I personally enjoy drawings that don’t show too much detail, but enough to recognize what it is. The flow and visuals are so eye catching and smooth, I don’t fully understand the story, but the short and precise sequences makes me feel like it’s an old memory. It shows the important parts, but not all the small stuff and makes me feel a little empty on the inside.

4) Yes, Homestuck was brought to mind, but only concepts of it. The chaotic story that brings fan to question everything, the many perspectives, crazy out of the world things, a mix of old and new technology, lots of death, etc. but it was a good reminder.

I don't know how many times I've seen this but every time I do I am absolutely mesmerized by it. The amount of detail and passion that was put in to this is astounding. Not to mention the pacing of the stories with the music? Breathtaking. This is one of my favorite videos of all time.
