Hi, thanks for sharing this There is one problem, your ISP will give you a dynamic IP address, so it could change. So one way to solve that is to get a static IP from your ISP, and that will be expensive The other way to have another router that acts as a DDNS router.
Oh my days, this legendary bro. Im fullstack developer & want to build my own cloud service for web hosting just for fun. This is a great starting point. Im subscribed!
Why you say you are a full stack developer? Its like saying im a president but still running for elections lol. Unless you know all the programming languages fully
Whenever you develop a website or app one of the major considerations is the cost of hosting. The method shown here means you can avoid paying the costs of a cloud computing platform completely, such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform. Yes, those companies do offer free trials for limited periods, but what happens when that period expires? The method shown here is very helpful indeed. If I had seen this video ten years ago, I suspect I might already be a dollar millionaire by now.
Bro im fullstack dev and host all my stuff on GCP and a little aws. Im fascinated by the idea of building my own cloud im sure its complex as hell but im sure theres a business opportunity in there if i figure how it all works i already have software & devops done.
I have two websites - one I host myself and another hosted professionally. My website has better uptime than the professionally hosted website 😄 I use a battery backup and my pc is on 24/7.
Most likely your(our) home IP addresses will change from time to time . one solution I have heard ( but not tested ) is to use the API of the registar. A script on the server should check if the ip address is changed and should call the registar API and change it there too
You are awesome. It would be great, If you could add, few things: 1. How to add a third party secure certificate. (We can do ours but then browser security will creates a problem). 2. Add details on what type of windows server one should buy and what will be licensing cost.
Nicely described. One question Normally we Need a static public IP for website hosting , So do we need to take a separate plan for public IP to do this ? Or every router already have this ? (I mean ISP will freely provide this ? )
hey brother your video is more than perfect but im having issues to use an old laptop as a server just for learining porpucess but unfortunately as it does not has a ethernet port it is not working due to DCHP is still not avaliable for wifi , so hopefully after i buy the adapter i will see if it works
Hello thank for the information please also provide info about sub domains and how to configure if we have more web projects on local host ? how to live those projects ?
So...basically...your public IP of your ISP is static? Wow...thats an expensive ISP... How about me and others who are given dynamic IP for our public IP? It will change from time to time, right? How to solve that?...please help.
Awesome! Thank you for sharing! Can you make also a video on how to host the website securely? How about running multiple sites? Dami kong tanong 🤣 please answer po 🤗 Maraming salamat! Mabuhay!
No ide Huawei made routers. Thanks for the informative video. I wanted to host a small website for my e-waste company, it don't receive a ton of traffic so I wanted to to find the cheapest option possible.
I subscribed to your channel and like your video ! Where’s the best place to go to build a website where I can transfer it over and host my own. I do not have control over my router yet but I’m getting a second ISP with the router in my room
encrypt the entire website with a different encrypting file service, and have the certifcates for each website on the end device. the application wont be able to read encrypted text so will load the website/certiface you have open, not as good as a site to site vpn would be but still fast enough. (i have not tried this to see if it actually works but in theory, if you like the sound of this and willing to pay for it im sure Microsoft would be happy to sell more Microsoft software and phones )
can this host database servers as well? Is the website static or dynamic? Are you literally saying I can host my database driven dynamic app with about 1000 users myself? If yes what other things will i need. Awesome content you just got yourself a new subscriber.
so good, I learnt somehing but can't make a site yet. can you explain me one thing? in which step is the webserver working or involved?, where did you deploy the server web, inside the scripts? thank you

Hi Sir! Your video is intresting...just wanna have question. is it possible to use also a home prepaid wifi router? is that the same as the router that has monthly subscription?? Thank you!
Home prepaid wifi router cannot give free static ip address. You have to call your isp and request static ip. They sell for much dollars depending upon your country, the static ip may range between $100 to $1000 per yr. Its recurring. Dont confuse with dedicated ip and static ip. When your virtual server gets static ip, its called dedicated ip(all things youve to buy )
👍⚠️ Where to keep the website on the computer? If it's any folder how to set the whole thing connected to it. 2.can have two or three domains and different content?
i made a Project Web Development and I want it to host at Ubuntu.. should I copy paste all the CSS framework and other Frameworks that I use and what particular folder in ubunto I should paste all of my projects.

You install Apache at minimum, and start it to serve your files. Inside Apache folder, there is a special dedicated folder, where you place your home file, usually named index.html
Great video but some of your links for Amazon are currently not working and I was wondering where did you get the small computer that you were using in the video cuz I'm looking for something similar for myself to host the website on. Please let me know where I can purchase one thanks in advance.
