One of my favorite singers of all time, Frankie Laine. He certainly sang some of the greatest songs ever written and he sang every song just beautifully. Frankie Laine's rendition of these songs could bring tears to the eyes of real-life tough guys. Great video, here. My thanks to all who helped produce and post, my thanks to Frankie Laine in particular. Thank you, all.
My Dad met Frankie Laine in Toronto when Dad was 17. He autographed a picture for Dad. Now I have it laminated and a beautiful letter from my late Dad. Love you Dad I hope you and Frankie met up again in Heaven. 🙏🕊🌹🌹😇😇
Damn, he looks better than when he was younger! Like a fine wine that gets better with age, he became more handsome. Classic songs like "Ghostriders in the Sky", "Blazing Saddles" theme song and so many more, just blows my mind. All these years of loving his music, I never made the connection of him to his music. What a wonderful man, God Bless You and Thank You Frankie Laine.
There were no computers in the late 40s, early 50s. TV was a non-starter. Movies were a rare occasional treat. Radio ruled, and music was our main entertainment. Singers were our superstars, and of the male singers Frankie Laine might have been our favorite. If not our number one, then surely among the very top candidates. It's too far back to remember what my thoughts of the time were, but I think that if I had to vote at the time, I would have chosen him.
I was around 4 years old back in 1956 and Frankie would be playing on the record player all the time. The Kid's Last Fight was a favorite--I didn't understand the Kid died till I was over. He and Johnny Mathias were played constantly post war.
Frankie laine one of the greats never see his lijes again said so before he is up there i. Heaven wondering what all the fuss sz is about his voice was unique never be anyone like it again gid rest your soul so much pleasure you gave us thankyou
