I appreciate you sharing some Bible with us. Your cattle and grass look great! Mowing pastures is one of the reasons I started grazing non-selective. I believe if you graze selectively you pretty much have to plan on clipping pastures at some point to even the playing field. It’s nice to have the cattle do it vs sitting on a tractor all day. I am seeing the same things you are. It just seems right. Keep up the good work!
Glad your back miss the videos. Love the books you share. That city job is cutting into your movie editing lol. How long do you run meat birds? I’m prolly gonna harvest my last batch next week October 5th how late you take you take yours. Remember this my first year here in the mitten with these.
Everything is looking great. Love following, an man I was wondering the samething about that other channel. I get understocked in his words but I'm sure he could do it without mowing behind. Couple questions.... what are you looking to do with your sheep side of things? Do you run your steers right with the cows all the time? An last.. what was the last bit?? Heifer farm??? Explain.. just love an trying to implement others ideas. Thanks
@@brettpayton6286 we are going to offer ground lamb, lamb brats, leg, and lamb chops I think that will be a nice addition to the rest of our inventory. I run a whole heard as much as I can, I just picked up a new lease farm and we have been running our heifers down there while the bulls have been in.
Appreciate all the info

Is/are the brown grass/es the cool season grass/es? Are those soils lacking or have an excess of some nutrient?
@@Marilou-g5t everything out there is cool seasoned grasses. It’s what’s left over from first rotation that they selectively grazed
