God wants us to have great confidence in His faithfulness and the reliability of His word. The more we understand His character clearly reflected in His Word, the more confidence we can have as we go through life. Then what we have experienced as truth we can share, teach, and train others to follow!
I really appreciate what you're doing and your boldness combined with humility. I'm enjoying watching your videos from Southern Missouri. Praying that God continues to bless your family and your operation.
I usually do not like or comment on videos, but this is one of the better ones I have seen. Everything you said here is spot on. Regenerative agriculture is definitely the future of farming, but nothing substitutes for doing it yourself and seeing what works best in your context. With regard to animal farming, every day moves, no matter which grazing style you are trying, is definitely a game changer. You are doing a great job, keep up the good work and keep spreading the good word.
@@drumhillerfarms6858 important info. I'm trying to buy a 40 acre farm in SE Kansas. I don't know how much life is left in me but I want to give farming/ranching a try. My realtor has accumulated 7000 acres and raises about 750 cattle. Hoping to learn all I can from her too when I make the move. Thanks for posting.
I love the videos I look forward to them! I still need to get down there at some point and visit. Can’t wait to hear about the chickens. I just got started this year in them (meat birds) what hatchery you use? I been using Townline because it’s local to us here in Michigan
@@themillennialrevolution5270 no I haven’t, we haven’t really had a pest issue, we have guard geese with the layers but I have not lost 1 meat bird due to predation kill this year. It’s crazy as it sounds. I’ve only found one tick on me this entire season and I normally wear shorts to do Chores.
Great content you got an awesome setup and a great system. What do you do for an in-town job? I'm trapped at mine currently until the farms paid off. But ide love to hear your story as to how you have been able to achieve what you have.
There are many ways to get things done, it depends on the context. I had been having a tough go recently, resulting in a bad attitude. It does seem like many divisive elements exist in this space, I have been guilty of it my self. There are so many small organizations promoting this type of agricultural, but none of them work together effectively, It seems like they are just an avenue for program money. We need a grass roots organization that is supportive, and not dependent on program money to attract attention. And sorry for bringing my bad attitude to your channel. You are doing more than most, and it is working for you and your family. Have a great day.
Great message but there is one element that is common to all the regen ag people I follow and that is they market their own products. Not saying it can’t be done selling through normal commercial channels but the risks rise considerably. That’s a major concern for many traditional family farms, the farming changes are OK, they are farmers after all but marketing is something they have little experience of. Just my 2 cents.
Best to say nothing until asked. Conventional farmers really only get interested Until 1) they see grass on your place, and hardly any left on theirs 2) their regenerative minded children harass them to the point of madness. 3) they are going broke and become desparate. And /or 4) they have been doing everything the agronomist has tild them to do and its failed everytime in 30 years, and the farmer finally catches on that its all bullshit.
