With a serial number of 1483, it is a very early 1956 Imperial. Serial numbers started with 1001, and the first hundred or so were mostly all long wheelbase Crown Imperials with bodies assembled in 1955. This is an early one. Also, this car has the hand-brake on warning light as a red dot; later production used a lense that occupied the entire chrome mounding on the dash. Its a very early car.
The 56 is my favorite year for these Chrysler's beautiful example.
yeah i really love the ''gun sight'' taillights. thanks for stepping by:)
Nothing says Americana like a mid fifties Imperial, great video, Thanks for showcasing this beauty!! 🙂
So beautiful! Something about the style of these cars always drew my eye to them. Sure hope I can ride in one some day before I check out.

Lovely colour combo shows this beautiful car off at its best !
I know my father a late 50's Windsor in this color with a white top. He owned several Imperials. My favorite was the 63 Southampton LeBaron

Desert rose:)
@@youngexotics2155 oh wow man! The prettiest color I've seen on a Classic Car yet!!
This needs some serious editing - how many times do we need to watch a gentle sweep along the left rear fender for example.
LOOKS MORE LIKE A 55 CHRYSLER IMPERIAL
Everything the Bentley Continental tried to be and more, period.
Tolles Uddo
Beautiful car!
And don't overlook the push button selector for the transmission...Sweet!
I forgot to mention that 1956 was the first year for the push button selector for the transmission
