Well i tell you what,if it looks like it wants to come this way,im leaving,i turn 39 next month on the 8th,i been in a few storms,i stayed by myself in our trailer for hurricane Katrina an Rita, because my dad didn't let my dog go, I was like if my dog can't go I ain't going,my mom was begging me to go with them,my dog was a few months shy of 2 years, he he didn't have no teeth when I got them,so he became my son, where I go he go, were he can't go I don't go, but after the last big hurricane we had, it gave me a new perspective on hurricanes on how quick they can go from a category 1 to a 5 in second...

Afoofah in Savanna-la-mar Westmoreland Jamaica 🇯🇲 and I just went outside and the sky is just about getting a cloudy to the east with lightening glares but otherwise it's a tense calm for now. 2:38am.
I'm 61 and live in Florida my whole life. This is a record. This size and intensity hurricane comes in August, September....to start in June is a unheard of.

I have a house in Trinity bay north and attached to Galveston bay and an apartment in Houston where I work - I agree I think it’s going to hit here. If that heat bubble moves off to Florida as it says it will it’s coming for us.

It is Wednesday and I live in Jamaica the rain is really heavy l saw a trumpet tree and it turned over we didn't know but as the trumpet tree leaves turned over we rushed to the supermarket and we got everything we wanted we got light candles and everything I heard the eye of the hurricane is very close to Jamaica

This storm shows no sign of decreasing. Is it possible that after the eye wall replacement, Beryl will continue to soak up water and feed it toward Jamaica. Will the wind sheer tear it up, or will the eye wall prevail? Is it possible to stay a Cat 5 into the Gulf?

Currently it's predicted that it's going to continue slowly weakening. When it makes landfall in Jamaica it's expected to be a category 3 hurricane. But this hurricane has been exceeding expectations for days so we shall see

Hey Mad Max, what's the wxr coming out of the Rockies, California, Canada looking like in a few days? If there is a strong enough cold front Beryl may just pass right over the middle of Mexico and head out to Baja California Sur. What do you think of that?
That would be something. Idk if it would bring monsoon like storms to the Sierra that would cool things off or just make our heat muggy.
No if a cold front comes in or if the heat dome weakens (which it looks like it will) it's going to draw the then tropical storm up into Texas or even Louisiana. That's why now models are showing it's going to turn north when before they weren't

I was stationed in Mississippi when it hit. Winds on Kesler Air Force Base reached almost 200 mph. Every car on base got damaged. The wind was so loud that you had to shout to someone standing two feet away from you. Quite a storm.
