"Why sometimes there's an animation and sometimes there isn't" - MTGA has an internal turn timer. If it reaches the limit, it tries to use fast animations or no animations whenever possible. I've seen it a lot in big combo decks in Historic, but not often in Standard. It's also, like many things in MTGA, a bit buggy.
The program flips a coin: if heads there will be an animation, if tails Arena will Alt+F4.

For the curious, CGB could have hit last opponent for 35 on the last Worldsoul's Rage, that would have summed up to 63 total damage with it through the game
Could have hit him for 40 across two Rages if he he had domed for 12 then exhausted his mana in the second, no?
man, this deck was fun, its the most Brawl deck i've ever seen in standard!
Playing jank is pretty much my magic career. It's so much fun winning when your opponent has to read every card you play
There are some decks that make me feel i could watch gameplays of them for hours. This is absolutely one of them.
Seriously, would watch a second video of this with a lot more games. Cool seeing this at the top mythic levels.

The 3 year rotation thing is proving to be rendering super fun decks with cards that had never been used in the previous two years. For example, the 1G spirit in the insidious roots deck.

Doppelgang is RIDICULOUS. the moment I saw it I preordered a foil ext. art. The first game I played my Niv Mizzet Supreme commander deck I Galvanic'd an instance of it where X=3 and made 6 copies of Zendikar Resurgent, 6 copies of my Command Tower, and 6 copies of Reflecting Pool. Did the math for how much that taps for? I flashed the Galvanic back and jumpstarted it from the graveyard with all that mana to make that many more copies of Zendikar Resurgent, copied my opponent's boards like 18 times over, LOL

I love worldsoul's rage! Definitely my favorite card from the set so far. I run it in a Naya list built around Virtue of Strength with ramp from tortoise/stomper/shigeki, a few wraths to stabilize, and a few other X spells for payoffs (white sun's twilight, awaken the woods) and it actually performs really well for a deck built around a jank card
Feels a lot more fun than the UW Mindsplice deck, big mana is always cool
I liked mindsplice bc it was fun, bc white sun's, and it had flash. I don't always care if it's competitive honestly

I finally got around to crafting this. It's really fun when you can get it to work. For my first few tries, I was never drawing one of the 29! lands or always the wrong color. In my last game I won after drawing my final Rage that was at the bottom of my deck.
Awesome video and fun deck! I added two copies of Explosive Singularity. Ends the game much sooner and is a great compliment to Mindsplice.

Gotta be honest here; Trostani was right. Most of the guilds have betrayed Ravnica in one way or another. It shows how laughably weak the Guildpact is, that they keep nearly destroying the plane in these poorly-conceived grabs for dominance, and then suffering no consequences for it when they fail.
The icing on the cake is that after Oba is defeated, she *can't be arrested,* even though she literally *murdered* multiple guild leaders. It takes a private lawsuit from the Orzhov to inflict a *monetary* punishment on Selesnya as a whole. Oba is still in power, barely demoted below the other two Trostani sisters, and still capable of trying again. And really, why wouldn't she? There's no reason not to, apparently.
Love this deck, when I drafted that card i knew it had potential! Paper decks lets go!

With these colors, what about the card that had flashback 1RG, blow up an enchantment, artifact or land. If you blow up your land, get 2 lands from your deck and put em onto the field.

It’s been about three years since I got into Arena and Arena content and literally every month EVERYONE complains about the “stale meta”. Now, I don’t know about everyone else but this is the case with every competitive game every made in the history of the world. Why do people even still say this? Absolutely mind blowing.

Did a tamer version of this a while back using Mindsplice plus Galvanic Iteration / Light Up the Night. I ran into a lifegain gamer once and had to deal 36 at once or die. Won that one. But all in all, the deck was a bit too clunky and not really reliable enough.

The meta is sooooo impatient! I get the “your go” when briefly reading cards. As if a new set didn’t come out. I guess when you play the same cards for 2 years, players experimenting are just slowing you down. 😂

Seems this deck as sultai with splashing red would be very good cause you have robbery available. Hit loads of mana and steal their deck. Got black march for Lifegain
