Ateshia Grant I pretty much just use white sheets and blankets. Any detergent will do the key is bleach. I put the bleach directly in the washer along with the detergent. For extra white I'll leave it in bleach water overnight then wash next day.
Oxiclean works wonders on white things. It's better than bleach in my opinion and doesn't have the smell. I use white bedding as well and just soak it in my tub for a few hours and voila. I've used oxiclean on my white curtains that I did not wash in 2 years so they were slightly yellowing from sunlight and dust....left those to soak longer...almost 24 hours and they were bright white after washing.
