My gf just bought a taco and wanted a bed divider,, how easily can that divider be stolen? Are there any locks on it? We're in south fla and i can see that being a target for thieves
Like the divider but I think I'll make my own ...also the wind caught by the tailgate is not a preventer of good mpg's it actually helps with mpg's by forcing air up and over the bed... engineering and physics
@@westcoasttaco well I meant more of the fact that there doesn't appear to be a single scratch or scuff mark anywhere on the sidewalls and it looks as if it was detailed 😂
@@devincutting3198 I do detail the truck often and try to lay down tarps if I’m going to be hauling anything around.. tends to do the trick if it’s going to exceed the rubber mat on the bed👍🏼
Definitely picking up the bed mat! Leaning towards a Leer cap eventually. Not sure if that’ll require a bed stiffener? Best price so far for the TRD lift is $1403 plus tax local pick up.
Not yet… Need to call around. Find out if the TRD Lift Kit can handle the weight of a Leer Cap and possibly a HiLine Series front bumper. If not I might still get the kit just for the blackout heritage grill and sell the lift. Assuming I don’t lose too much money. Kind of silly just to get that grill but I really want the OEM blackout grill.
Sounds good! Thx I called Westcott Designs today to pick their brains. Left a message.. BTW.. Are you happy with your Cali Raised Cat Guards? Was thinking of getting my dad a set for his 18 Access Cab 4x2 for his Bday. Considering a set for myself but I thought I had read somewhere that they don’t fit the manual? Going to do some more homework on those and other brands for my Taco.
@@James-yv8nm so I spoke with my mechanic.. and he said that you would definitely want to have a bed stiffener for your Tacoma.. he said the Bilstein 5100 (TRD lift kit) would be fine but he would definitely recommend adding at least one extra leaf spring… Maybe a three pack leaf set depending on how much weight you plan to have back there.. I like the cat shields.. so far they have been really good additions for the undercarriage of my truck.. I don’t think they are designed for the manuals at least that’s what I recall seeing.. definitely look into that before you pull the trigger just so you don’t have to deal with the back-and-forth of having to return them. hope this helps.🤙🏼
They are the Alpha Rex Pro Series (Jet Black). www.tacomalifestyle.com/collections/headlights-tail-lights/products/alpha-rex-pro-series-led-tail-lights-2016-2023
My top accessory for my 2015 Tacoma TRD SPORT would be a tailgate. It was stolen last week at Costco With a Veteran plate on the truck , just in time for Memorial Day. No respect dirtbags.
Not my usual m/o, but people who take the time to complain about the way others spend their money to upgrade their truck, baffles me! Never a shortage of negative comments. Most other comments are positive and helpful, the way it should be.
@bradschroder8885 You think blindly accepting consumerist garbage and supporting people who perpetuate that horrible philosophy by way of positive comments is "the way it should be?" Clown.
I literally need all 3 of these.
I like the Cargo Divider! I might try the net first though to see how that works for me
I have one I've been using it as a headache rack, just flip it over. It's for sale now.
Very nice cover. Toyota bed mat in my 2023 Tacoma Limited is amazing! $125 less online that Dealer.
Gator SRS tono cover . Looks great. Need one
Great video. Getting the mat and cover. I already have 2 net dividers from previous cars
My Tacoma cover has a string
Lucky the mat came with the truck when I bought it
You cost me money every time I watch one of your videos!! Thx
Sorry about that.. haha!

Honestly, it’s pretty easy to remove and reattach.. it just uses twist knobs, very similar to what is used on the tiedown rings..
That's why you put the bed cover so they don't see that you have the divider. I wouldn't get the divider unless you get the cover for that reason.
Somebody stole my cargo net for groceries last year. It only costs $25 but still annoying.

I have one for sale in central Ca
My Velcro gave up on mine. Trying to figure out where to get replacement that will work.
Great mods!! Excited to see what other mods you have plan for the taco.
Thank you! Looking forward to the next one ☝️
nice and practical, love it. Out of curiosity, how the hell do you keep the bed looking absolutely spotless and untouched?
The Gator cover does 99% of that..

Thank you!
@@westcoasttaco Does it fit in a garage?
@@Jaredius it does, just depends on how deep your garage is.
The bed mat also saves your knees
Indeed!!
Very cool. Nice truck.
Thank you!
Nice, I'm going to get the cargo divider and a mat
Nice truck!! Smart accessories!!
Thank you!
Nice lookin truck!!
How has the cover held up over the last six months? Would be interesting to know your review
Great man, I’ll be doing a video comparison in January. Stay tuned for it 👍🏼
@@westcoasttaco I may pick one up myself now thanks for the response back!
no i did notice the truck moving a little faster when i installed the cover 👍
The first thing I bought was the rubber mat. I think the divider is next.
Right on👍🏼. Looking forward to meeting on Friday.

What brand and model is that bed divider?
It’s the OEM Tacoma Cargo Divider.
Oh you know you don't use your truck for anything!
The divider is so annoying I removed it.
Omg your taco is a eyebrowed taco
😂

People who spend $300 on a divider absolutely baffle me! Insanity.
Agreed
Seriously. That would be the most expensive thing in my truck bed
I spent like $150.00 from Amazon. Works well
