When I was younger, I loved the Cars video game, and What I Want was always a great song that made up a part of my childhood. Well, my dad is a music producer and has been for my whole life, and years later I found out he produced Autopilot Off. Needless to say, I was so happy.

In which you woke up in the morning, did everything quickly, and turned on the PS2, and played Test Drive: Eve of destruction to crush the others,And you played Cars or the video game and tried to win the piston cup listening to this masterpiece? It's my friend, I did that too😢
Wow. 9 years after listening to this song, it still gets my heart beat racing and memories of me holding down X on the PS2 controller till it hurt on Cars.
Autopilot off has helped me through teenage heart break, a divorce and now more recently the passing of my mother on Dec 3 2020. This band has had a sound that I have resonated with since I was young and to this day I can resonate with. I have so many happy memories of spinning Make A Sound in my CD Player while on vacation with my family and any chance I get to introduce another to this band is always a win. Thank you for the music you've made and the way you helped paint those time in my life with sound.

Speaking personally, this is honestly one of the most important pieces of music to me. It basically shaped my taste and preference in music. When I was a kid, and I played Cars on my Gamecube, I loved all the tracks, but I'd ALWAYS pick this one on a loop. It was the first song that made me go out and listen to an entire album by a band. I am still an active listener after all these years. I played that game when I was around 8. It's almost been a full twenty years. And I still come back to it.
