O M G!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend this recipe to EVERYONE!! I've made this 7 times, each time doubling the recipe and my family and I go CRAZY for this. Thank you so much for this recipe Laura xx
+CatsLikeOlives i don't think so just double it i always do that and it works ! i don't add anything , but if u liike it more creamy u can add more suger and cheese that's it :)
Highly recommend everyone to make this - I've made this already 4-5 times (without red food colouring as well), it was a major hit in my house :) Thanks Laura!
This really is (and I can’t stress this enough) the greatest dish Laura has EVER made! I have been making it all the time for years and it never gets old.
This is why she's amazing. She really enjoys food and her expressions when she samples her food are priceless! She makes me want to try her recipes. Well done Laura Vitale!
Wow! I saw the video about 2 hours ago and decided to give this a try. I just finished nibling on the last bite. They were phenominal, from the taste, texture to the aroma of the top layer was lovely. My family loved them. Thank you Laura.
They looked like mini lasagne squares which gives it that extra beauty to food, and the colour on those brownies were just incredible. They do look delicious. I'll have to consider making those one day. :)
I made these so many times already and absolutely love them. Very easy to make and taste so good. One of my favorite desserts lately. Thank you for sharing, Laura.
I made these yesterday!!! I LOVVVVVVE THEMMM!! Will be making them over the weekend again! I find that they are so much better the day after :) Thank youuuuuuu Laura in the Kitchen
I made these brownies for our Christmas Eve family get together. They are delicious! My nephew loved them and asked me to share your recipe with him. I hope he finds many of your recipes to make. Thanks for another great one
Literally saw this this morning, then ran to the store grab the missing ingredients I needed and made them for my family. They. Are. All. Gone. They were so good it is amazing. Thank you for the recipe! I will definitely be making these again!
Me and my boyfriend made these brownies and they came out so good. We also made them for a birthday party. Everyone enjoyed them. It was easy to follow the recipe. Best browines ever.
Oh my goodness! Now this is pretty much perfection for me in a dessert! I have no choice but to make these for my husband and I tomorrow! I cannot wait! Thank you Laura, once again!
Can I just say... This looks amazing. I mean, I don't like red velvet anything. But this looks amazing. Why doesn't she have more comments, likes and subs? I have been watching her youtube videos for a couple years now. It all started when I was hungry 1 morning before school and I wanted cinnamon buns. So I watched her cinnamon rolls video. XD ALSO I know she has a cooking show and Yes I do watch it. :)
You could probably just switch out the red velvet part for regular brownie batter, that would probably taste amazing as well, it just wouldn't look as cool as the red (:
Thank you, Laura! You just combined three of my favorite desserts :) I've been watching your videos since the beginning, and I can say you just keep getting better!
I actually made this a few days ago with my sister in law to be and we followed the recipe to a "T" and they came out kinda flavorless. There was no sweetness at all. The batter itself tasted fine, really good and chocolaty, but when it baked, that flavor was gone. Are they not supposed to taste very sweet? We're both trying to figure out what we did wrong.
Laura I absolutely love all of your videos!! I've made a few of your recipes & they've turned out amazing. Thanks to you, I now have a love for cooking and baking!! Thank you & keep up the great work!
Hi Laura made these so many times thanks for sharing this treasure! Have been following your channel since a few years and still in love with all your recipes 🤩
I'm surprised we don't hear your husband snicker behind the camera when you do those dramatic expressions lol! That'd be fun haha. Nice bright red in the brownies!
Hi I made this today, it's absolutely divine n got over as soon as it was out of oven. thanks Laura, very good recipe n precise instructions!! love your channel :)
Definitely wanna try these! That's what I was thinking the whole time I made my red velvet cake about how good they would be if they were brownies! :D Looks fantastic
You look so festive!! "Make sure you serve it to people you like because they will stick around." lol lol I'm rolling. Best piece of advice for any cook!
OMG, I was drooling as I was watching this. I must make these soon and I know these will be delicious! I made your red velvet cupcakes twice last week because they were so gooooooooooood. Thanks Laura!!
I just made these today and they are delicious. I stored them in the fridge. Thanks Laura. I would love to see some chocolate chip cookie dough brownies. :)
one observation! Isn't Laura of Italian descent? Why is she using cream cheese for the cheese cake? the best cheesecake is make from a combination of ricotta and mascarpone. for a typical cheese cake mix; 500 grams of ricotta, 250 grams of mascarpone, around 150 grams of caster sugar and three beaten eggs. mix the ricotta, mascarpone and sugar together and then mix in the eggs into it. it will give you a much creamier texture and it doesn't taste as heavy as this 'cream cheese'
Is that really important what he uses? She didn't mention anywhere that it's Italian cake do why bother as long as it comes out delicious? Just like green pesto not necessarily be made with basil but ppl use spinach to hv that green vibrant and just use little basil?
Just made these...Perfect. I added a touch more of vanilla, cocoa powder, and sugar for extra flavor. Laura's recipes are great but u can always add your own spin to taste.
Made these today for church group I attend and they where a hit! I couldn't find distiller vinegar, so followed another comments advice and went with Apple cider vinegar! Delicious, thanks Laura!
I’d say it’s your 🧠 that’s not able to keep up with her words...perhaps you should slow the video down to half speed so you can stare at the screen until you can comprehend it...ok ???? 🤦🏻♂️
She has answered many questions before but I think she won't answer the same questions or if someone else has already answered it in someone else's question, have a read at the other comments, you may already have you answer. She does a great job, don't tear her down unnecessarily.
I have made this recipe SO MANY TIMES! I love it! It always comes out perfect! Just a tip, do not use a very high quality cocoa powder. Because it will give it an intense cocoa powder flavor and intense color.
I made this and it came out amazing. Just one thing. My cream cheese was a bit watery so it was difficult to make the swirling pattern. Is that because I mixed it too long? Or maybe I shouldn't have used the handheld electric mixer as stated in the recipe.
Laura! I don't know if you've ever seen the show on the Food Network called, Chopped, but you should do an episode like that one time! Where maybe you have a friend/family member, or even have us viewers vote for 4 mystery ingredients, and then you have to make a meal out of those!! It would be so fun! :) Thumbs up so she can see please! :D
Oooh my ghod! I've just made them now, let it cool, and i tasted one pecie believe me guys you need to try it, it' sooo easy and delicious, and you'll not regret it. Thank you sooo much for sharing this recipe❤❤
Laura!!! You're super funny in this video! Especially when you say you are not blessed in the swirling ability. Lol. I was literally laughing out loud!! I love you!! You're so fun to watch! And the swirls on the brownie looked gorgeous!!! Will make it someday!

Anyways thanks for sharing the recipe!!
O M G!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend this recipe to EVERYONE!! I've made this 7 times, each time doubling the recipe and my family and I go CRAZY for this. Thank you so much for this recipe Laura xx

Me and my boyfriend made them twice. Fell in love with them easy to do yet fun to make. This is so far my favorite way to eat red velvet.
They looked like mini lasagne squares which gives it that extra beauty to food, and the colour on those brownies were just incredible. They do look delicious. I'll have to consider making those one day. :)

Maybe some people can't find that stuff, so she uses cream cheese because it's easy to find and already made. :)
BreeBunny100 excellent observation
Roz Sa yea i agree with bree :) it would be much harder for me to find ricotta and mascarpone than cream cheese
Is that really important what he uses? She didn't mention anywhere that it's Italian cake do why bother as long as it comes out delicious? Just like green pesto not necessarily be made with basil but ppl use spinach to hv that green vibrant and just use little basil?

You never answer anybody's questions in the comments. Rude... -_-
She probably gets a LOT of comments and it's really hard to answer all of them.. I think your comment is rude.
Sanjana Rg
She doesn't answer any questions at all though soo... -_-
