wow i didn't know helmet had recruded an aussie into the band, i never knew peter was from AUS thats really fucking cool. i love all bands from there tumbleweed,brother brick,cosmic psychos,zambian goat herders,bored!,hoss etc.. also i lived their for 6 years real cool experience.

No they fukkin DIDN'T! I was John's Drum Tech, thru MEANTIME/BETTY. Page is the Primary Founder/Writer/etc., but those are my Road Brothers, as are SEPULTURA, MINISTRY, JESUS LIZARD, TAD, etc.Show me an individual, Touring on THAT level, that doesn't have some issue.... Blood IS thicker! Dig
nobody likes to admit it but months ago (in 2020) john did a livestream and refused to even say pages name, clarified that they haven't spoke in 20 years, yet talked kindly about the other members. so.
Someone once told me (someone who is in a position to know such things, that is) that when Helmet records an album, Page does all of the guitar tracks and the "other" guitarist never gets to contribute anything to the recording. Including Peter Mengede. I told this person that had to be bullshit, they swore it was true.
@Ryo-lence First- at the time that person was telling me this, their newest recording was Strap It On. Second- he was a close personal friend of Page. Are you?
