thank you so much !! will this bad feeling come and go while I am treating ? I commented the other day I felt good and then next day I felt bad again... which I only been using daily for 5 days so far.. I know I will need to be on this for a few months or so to get better, I had full hysterectomy in 2004 and have been low for many years and was put on high dose Estrogen for many yrs.I cry while watching you because my symptoms are so MANY and of course the depression has been so bad for the almost 7 yrs now... wish I had seen your post way back then and not had to miss out on so much of my life... I am sticking with it this time.. and maybe think I need to dose every 8 hours ???? or 5 hours untill I start to feel better.... I also just found out my gallbladder has started hurting this last yr and it too is from high estrogen !!!! ugh !!! I need to bathe in progestrone for sure.... Please never stop talking about this so many are suffering and even dying from this !

Hi, don’t best yourself up about this. You didn’t know! When your levels drop you will feel it. Don’t be afraid to take a dab of cream. You can take a dab every 3-4 hours as your body needs it. The first few months I had more moodiness, but after my period I always felt stronger. It’s a process. Always allow your symptoms to guide you which means when levels are getting low, and you feel symptoms stabilize them with more cream.

@@doriskingchen I had full hysterectomy would it be different for me ? like will I have to use for ever ? which if it makes me happy then I will bathe in it daily if needed... girl after 7 LONG years of suffering only people like you and me know this horrible feeling. I would do almost anything to feel happy... and until you I really thought I would die soon or have to live like this house bound and in bed and depressed for what ever time I had left.. I look around right now and am VERY angry to know how much money I wasted on SOOO many things trying to get well... so many books, healing modalities , drs and labs among a few... and all I needed was Progesterone... I am so overwhelmed at the cost and money I lost. and to know the drs PUSH NO PROGESTRONE !!! something needs to change... EVERY dr I went to said you do not NEED progesterone... and I believed them. I lost 7 yrs of my life and time with grandkids and my husband.... I thank GOD !!! almighty that my husband did not give up on me. I was told I had lyme, mold, leaky gut and so much more... and was charged to do treatment for all these. and it cost me a fortune. all a long it was low P.... I want to be like you and sing it from the moutain tops !!! I am already telling EVERY one about you ! you need to do another book about bi polar but also about just regular stuff to help ALL , kids and women and me and boys. my grandkids I think suffer from low P my grandaughter has been passing out and my grandson has anger issue. my daughter there mom has SO many symtoms like me... just not the depression yet of course she is 35 and I am 56 so I have many yrs of low p ahead of her. plus she still has her period.. but she has tons of overies problems and passing out as well... I get dizzy and lightheaded among like 30 symtoms of low P anyway thank you again... you will always be my angel !!! GOD BLESS YOU!!!keep up the good work and I will pass your name and books to every one

@@dominiquevickery8806 Thank you for spreading the word! You can still have hormonal imbalances even after a hysterectomy. Unfortunately many doctors perform hysterectomies when most women need to restore their progesterone. You will not have to take high amounts for the rest of your life, but you will need to take maintenance dosing. The lowest amounts you need to remain healthy. First restore progesterone, then if you have low estrogen you can restore that second. I’m glad you hung on long enough to figure out your health. I hope you start feeling better soon.

Hi Doris. Would you be interested in talking about the hyperactive hpa axis in bipolar disorder?

Hi Doris, can I ask how much progesterone you were taking during your saturation period ?

Hi, I didn't take one set amount, I started low, and went slow until I built up and then tapered off. Month 1 I took 60 to 100 mg daily. MonthS 2-4 100 to 160 mg daily (with break for my cycle). During months 3-4 I took up to 200 mg on days I felt my body needed it. Month 5 I tapered down only taking 60 to 80mg and the final month, month 6 I was taking 20 to 30mg once a day for the two weeks before my period. This is a rough estimate as I didn't keep a diary, but I pretty much followed these dosages +/- 20-40 mg. I used my symptoms as a guide.
