Just done a initial review on one of these myself... I spoke to Eskute about them after seeing your previous videos featuring one of their bikes. As we make videos about life on a narrowboat they sent us one to review... Very happy with it - found a few niggles but nothing major though. Today I've just recieved a few bits I ordered as my first full on test of it I am going to ride out to Winnats Pass (near Edale) and ride up that (bearing in mind I'm mid 40's, like a beer and overall rather unfit!). Then wild camp near the summit before riding home the next day. We live 'off grid' on the boat but I'm going back to my youth, in the scouts etc, these days and going back to bushcraft trips... Don't think I will be dunking the junk though! Be interesting to see what the tourer is like if you get one of those....
Tempted to get myself one as its very hilly here in Tenerife and no way could I get up the mountains on a normal bike. I did get myself an electric Nissan Leaf earlier this year and its great. Go everywhere with it.
Hi there, good review BUT at approximately 2 mins and 24secs you said it weighed 125kg, whereas i believe that is its weight carrying capability and that it actually weighs 25kg itself. Thanks!
I own a bike same weight same battery etc and I get about 40/50 miles, I'm 15 stone so the advertised "up to 80 miles" is weight dependant also. if I only use the assist when I hit a hill it lasts all day long into late evening but if I just moved my feet enough to get it powered to 15mph and put no effort into it you will be lucky getting about 20 miles out of it or a couple of hours constant riding. It's better to just utilise it on hills and enjoy the flat, you can get way further.🖖🏻
@@mikejohn2395 But you can't operate the app whilst cycling. Also, I've been in touch with Eskute who said they will be shipped a controller that can be attached to the handlebar
Looks like a great all rounder. 👌 Personally I'll never go electric. 🤷♂️ Maybe when I'm old and crippled. Might be a good move then..plus it would never survive the essex coast, beach riding and rivers😂. I'll stick to peddle power for now... I'll order one when I'm a pensioner. Great review...👍
Actually don't buy it it's a pile of cheap crap, my sons pedals came loose after 1 week having the bike and will not go back in. Now it's a repair job.
My bike failed in less than two months use and almost two months later still trying get it resolved. Rubbish bike. Along with 100s other peoiple problems with this bike.

I’d suggest it doesn’t weigh 125kg, perhaps that’s the safe working load?
bike weighs in at 25kg , 125kg is the rider weight limit
@@melin1969 I'm 97 kg, the bike is 25kg so I guess I can carry gear weighing 3kg hitting the max?
@@allanallen1835 how about without assist to loose some weight?
I work in advertisement and some of our fav sayings are things like. "Comes ready to assemble" lol

Sounds good, but not sure what weight it would carry including myself. If you and JD like it, I probably will. Thanks for the upload ✨👍🏼✨
What's your podcast and where would I find it if you please, Mr Haze?
You sound like you are from near me haha, im from near Sheffield - Rotherham - Just looking for an ebike myself!
When your charging this bike does it have a light on the charger itself depicting empty or full, or is it just on the bike battery from red to green.
In your experience how long have you found the battery to last in terms of miles?

I saw that the assistant level button only goes up, not down too. Is that right?
You can control it via connecting the APP.

Great review...👍
Cool - I could do with more umph to replace my old legs. x
Does it work in pure motor mode where you don't have to peddle?
Im no expert but by the looks of it the front fork seals have gone, pretty sure the oil shouldn't there like that 🤔
There be no oil in those forks. 😉 The oil would be worth more than the forks. Cheapest of the cheapest forks that there ever was.
Nice one Hazey 👍🏼
Cool stuff
