Exploring Naples' Culinary Gems: A 3-Day Food Tour in Italy's Pizza Capital
Join us on a delectable journey through Naples, where we dive deep into the heart of Italian culinary tradition. From historic trattorias to iconic pizzerias, our three-day adventure uncovers the best flavors Naples has to offer.
Day 1: Our tour began at Trattoria Nennella (Piazza Carina), where we indulged in authentic Neapolitan dishes for just 22 euros, earning a hearty 8/10. Next, we visited L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele (Via Cesare Sersale), where 19 euros gave us a taste of pizza heaven, also scoring an 8/10 for its unparalleled Margherita and Marinara.
Day 2: Breakfast at Ceraldi Caffe (Piazza Carina) was chic yet pricier at 19 euros, landing a 5/10. Our day improved with an aperitivo at Museum Caffe (Largo Corpo di Napoli) for 25 euros, delighting us enough for an 8/10. Dinner at La Locanda Gesù Vecchio (Via Giovanni Paladino) offered scenic views with a 7/10 rating.
Day 3: We started with breakfast at Café Bistrot Mandara (Via Ponte di Tappia) and Chalet Ciro - Toledo (Via Toledo), both scoring 7/10 for their morning offerings. A lunch at Sorbillo al Lungomare di Napoli (Via Partenope) with breathtaking sea views and exquisite pizza earned an 8/10. Our culinary tour culminated in dinner at A Taverna d’ ‘e Zoccole (Vico Lungo del Gelso), a cozy taverna that stole our hearts with a 9/10 rating.
Our journey through Naples taught us that culinary excellence isn't confined to luxury - it's about the passion, tradition, and love infused in every dish. From bustling streets to serene seafronts, every meal was a new chapter in our Neapolitan story.
