I remember when I I turned 14 years old in 1995 and I bought this Album for my birthday. I fell in love with it and I still listen to it regurally today. I am (at the time of this post) currently 41 years old.
You were not 15 in 95. Your math is squirrely
@@samohtgile You're right. I was 14 years old. Had to use an online calculator to figure that out. My bad. Just made the correction to the above post now.
We are same age
that depends on what month your birthday is @@samohtgile my birthday is July. work that out.
I was 9 when this came out, my best mate got this album on cassette for his birthday, we learned the words to every song so fast, great time, great memories
Love this album so much. Every time I see it at a store I buy it and give them away. I have probably bought over 15 copies. All my ex gf's have a copy. All my classmates that have cd players in their cars have a copy. I rock the green marble vinyl myself. PUSA!!
Just found another copy!
"I have probably bought over 15 copies. All my ex gf's have a copy." Literally crying laughing here. You win the internet today.
⛳
I love this
I've had my same copy for 20+yrs.
I was a french high school student when this record came out and I was really proud to be the only fan of this band in the whole school. What i love about it is the fact that because each instrument is minimalist, and because it is very well mixed, you can hear each and every string and percussion distinctly if you focus a bit. No wall of sound. That makes every play different.
Every song is fun and with a happy feeling, that was also a difference with the melancholic/angry rock of that era.
I had the chance to see tham in a samll venue at Paris, one of the best gig ever.
I absolutely adore Jason's sound on his tiny drums, once again the mix is amazing, the fuzzy bassitar, the cool bluesy chords of Dave...
Lifelong as well. They somehow got better.
The way you explained it is beautiful ❤️
Edit, I was in maybe grade 7/8, rocking their XL t-shirt.
Taking a trip down memory lane rn ❤
Damn dude/chick
Great break down
I’m listening to this atm with my mom (over video call 2000 miles apart)
Question? French person or you went to France for studies?
If you’re French, holy shit how’d you find this obscure 90’s American band!?
@@CutChemist4688 i am french, and when this album came out here it was on every radio ! You can still hear Lump nowadays on rock radios. They did some show here, all sold out, had a bucnh of interviews, and also they covered a French song, sining in French, that's the best way to win our heart you know :)
More than that, we have a rule here saying that radios must play at least 40% of songs sung in french, and DJs were glad to play it as it would count as french music even if it's from a US band. (The song is ça plane pour moi btw, not sure it came out in the US)
@@nemuchan
Dude (or madame) super freaking cool response. Made my day. And no, never heard of that song and, being an American, I can’t speak French 😞 good bit of Spanish though so I’m not FULL blown stupid.
C’est la vie
That’s super freakin awesome, no idea 🤷♂️ they were so down with the French!
One of my favorite groups is French btw, Chinese Man Records
More DJ/turntable/beats type of stuff
Skank in the Air live ft. Taiwan in Paris is pretty dope
Us in the southern United States have a special place in our hearts for the French btw, shit, we have an entire region over in Louisiana that speaks French creole
No idea wtf they’re saying 🤣
The entire south was bought from you guys
One of our founding fathers, my hero, Benjamin Franklin (who is the only NON president featured on our notes, and it’s on the hundo $100, largest denomination domestically circulated) was a HUGE France fan, I think even a diplomat
I’d love to visit, but I’m stuck beach side in a swamp hellhole called North Florida
Rant over, thanks for reading my friend 🙂

I agree love that other version though this was interesting to hear
30:17
Thanks!
It’s because the bonus is not really needed and thank you!!!
Master piece from start to finish 👌💚👌
Indeed
Couldn't agree more
Yeah, except these arnt the correct tracks from this album.... its all wrong compared to the cd i own.
Sounds amazing. One of the best records ever ever
👌🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👌
Absolutely. They were a rare gift.
Absolutely ever ever ❤
Indeed
I agree absolutely legendary 🙌
89k views is abysmal. These guys deserve so much more than that...
From beginning to end this drumming is so so so good. The feel, the energy, the inventiveness, the playfulness. So groovy, so funky, and dead in the pocket.
BONUS TRACKS:
Conufsion 37:51
Candy Cigarette 40:35
Wake Up 42:37
Carolyn's Booty 45:18
Fuck California 47:35
Puffy Little Shoes 50:40
Yo thanks dude!
Thanks
Superb album, then & now….
Still sounds fresh!
One of the records of all time
Been listening to Peaches n Dune Buggy since I was a wee lad
Remember a younger, more impressionable me getting this cassette and my mom putting it on in the car in the ride home from the store. The "fuck you kitty" repeating kind of set the tone for the ride home.
Flashing back and young and old me are rocking out together! 😂
Still in 2023 🤘🤘
Awww, here it is... I bought this album when it was fresh.... prolly one of the best ever👍👍👍🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇
I went to a few POTUSA concerts back in the day. I'll tell you this- you NEVER saw a band have as much fun on a stage as these guys!
That is a fact! Crystal ball room in Portland Oregon for me! 3 times!
2 of my daughters have also been to see PUSA @ Crystal Ball Room Portland, Oregon when they were 12 and 9.
I have not been to one yet. I bet they have a blast on stage. I did recently seen AJR live and they also are just up there having fun. Good tunes and concert.
One of my all-time favorite road trip albums. It just puts you in the mood to sing-along and haul ass...
Love it from front to back - thanks POTUSes!
my first CD/album... so much love!
Love this album dearly~ Thanks for the reupload!
2024
Still listening to this with my mom atm and I’m 2000 miles away
Whole album is… well if you know, you know
Though I never did get the hang of it, I bought my fair share of fleeting hobby guitars thanks to you guys.
I like this album. But no one knew this album when I was a high school student in Japan.
A hidden gem that became lost amidst a sea of alternative goodness (and mediocrity) smack in the middle of the 90s. I was obsessed with "Lump" when I was like, 6 years old. These guys don't get credit for their creativity. Extra points for being from Seattle and not trying to syphon the success of grunge.
Grew up on this album my mom introduced me at about 8 and still a banger till this day
The 90s rocked
no
Top 5 albums of all time!!!
💥💥💥💥💥💥
Would love to hear your top five albums?!
@@christianwarf 1. SPIRITUALIZED "LAZER GUIDED MELODIES"
2. DANDY WARHOLS "13 TALES"
3. SILVERCHAIR"NEON BALLROOM"
4. THOMAS MUDRICK "DRIPPING FROM THE ROOTS"
5. PUSA "ALBUM 1"
Definitely not a spinning ball!

There were very few CD's/cassettes that had really good songs all the way thru, but this is definitely one of them. I was a junior in H.S. when this album came out and I still listen to it frequently.. Definitely one of the greats..
still gives me goosebumbs the same as it did 20 years ago
first actual cd I ever had. Think my cousin gave it to me for xmas, I must have been about 10 :P pretty sure I shouldnt have had it 3:) props to my older cousins for corrupting my smol brain... great album!
Fuck, yeah! Simple, well-played fun music. Loved it 30 years ago, love it today.
this album will always hold a special place in my heart haha. every song. that one summer
Love this album too! Awesome 👍
2053, and here I am listening to these kids at a bar in Seville.
OMG! A Time traveler!!! lol
hehe, peaches. Good song! I remember when i heard it on MTV once. ;) A few times, the melody always got stuck with me. It's a good song!
When I was little I liked it for other reasons, but now as a geezer, I see how...well it's got a nice beat, and ya can dance to it, and that's just swell!
Wow! I bought the album when originally released and loved it so much I thought I knew it front to back.
I was floored by the last 4 or 5 songs; I'd never heard 'em before!
Bodacious n' shit....
😜
Keep silly & savage music alive baby!
✊😎👍
#Dorkfish
Literally the only album I bought more than once, actually 5 times 😃
These guys are the first concert I ever went to -- at the Edge in Orlando in 1995 or 1996.
Great album that lot's of people just don't know about.
I was obsessed with this album in middle school. The peaches song was mega popular with all my 13 and 14 year old school buddies. I'm 43 now and I can remember the lyrics with ease despite not having listened to this album in almost 25 years. The entire album is still a blast to listen to. I'm just an overgrown kid anyways
This album circuling round my ankle!!🎉🎉😅😅 kitty! 🐈
У меня есть такой в коллекции! Спасибо, друзья, вы крутые!
God this brings back memories ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
One of my favorite albums of all time . songs are super lyrics amazing.
comme Marc Bolan ou Johnny Thunders... Je mange des pêches, oui, des pêches, encore et encore!... et ça plane pour moi! bel album! I agree with you!
5,000 froggy's rocking really really hard...
How did i make it to 31 before listening to this whole album? Such a great album all the way through!
😆 I am 68 and just listening to them for the first time.
One of the best albums of all time in my humble opinion. Wondering why this channel uploaded it. Looks like they haven’t uploaded anything in 5 years, and suddenly every song, plus the whole album. Not complaining of course!!!
It would be really silly not to try & capitalize on this absolute masterpiece. Ad money helps people.
Do a show in West Virginia! I absolutely love this album and band. I am so glad I was introduced to them by a friend.
Same thing happened to me. I was introduced to this album. I had to have a copy. I still have the cassette. I listened to it a lot a long time ago. Wow! So long ago. Funny how good the music is also. Crazy.
Reminds me of all my old cassettes I still have. Wired Al Yankovic, PUSA, Coolio, MIB, Toy Story, Beavis and Butthead and Don’t Be A Menace. I still have all of them but Cake.
@@adeadhead423 Everything you mentioned is kickass! Cake is also bitchin'!
I used to listen to this thing all of the time!
I actually didn't get into this album until I heard the whole thing. I thought they were ok when I saw their videos. But now I love this album
I can still feel my car seat buckles as I belted peaches in my dad's car as a youngin'. My little mind just thought it was a song about literal peaches 😅 my dad always had the best music taste. 😊
I was around 2-3 years old 😊, "stole" the CD from my dad when I was a teen, and fell in love with EVERY song. You don't often come across albums where every single song HITS.
One of those albums that gets better with every song abd it started with a 10/10
Peaches is such a good song.
❤ I used to watch peaches on MTV I miss that show
This blew up in Australia in 95
My fave little “blue dune buggy”
Such a cool song ❤
Still own my cd version ❤. You 'definite' my play style in my teenager time..... long time ago 😂 you know what I mean 😂 takecare 😁✌
One of the best albums ever. Lil chicky hits it.
Grup band terfavorit versi saya pribadi hingga saat ini.
This is an amazing album
FAVORITE ALBUM OF ALL TIIIIIME
One of the only bands I’d like to say thank you to
Best memories ever....., thanks!
i was gaming and i entered a flow state. thank you.
langsung jatuh cinta sama soundnya jaman MTV berjaya
Stranger demo sounds like Ween, AWESOME!
Guys I think they made it
I just was looking for canned peaches, but okay nice. very good .!12 +1complemint
Imperdible para relajarse 😊😊
yhyou fuys so cool putting whole album up like this way
🫡 suscrito!!!
They were on something stronger than booze to get this lyrical level of enlightment
I just saw the Seattle Supersonics tour bus on the way to the Olympics
My brother used to have the cassette tape of this!
Old man on the back porch and that old man is me 😂
1996 WHEN FIRST HEARD IT... BEST OF THE 90S, HOPE THEY MAKE 2023 ALBUM WD 90S STYLE
love the group since the early 1990's when i worked Taco Bell🥰😍🤩
My childhood!
Only times, dudes, I'm into 'politics': thank you, PUSA🤘🏼
suger babe love this music fuck yeah
top!
The nostalgia
Still here in 2026!!
This amazing album dropped just in time for the summer of 95. Sophmore -> junior year 95. I pushed every envelope there was that summer 😂
If you ever get some horrid song stuck in your head. An earworm they are called.
This album will get rid of it, guaranteed.
Especially lump or peaches
After all these years what's your favorite song on this album?
Mine used to be Peaches and now it's Feather Pluckin. Kitty, Boll Weevil & Dune Buggy (especially the verses) are all close 2nds.
Old man on the back porch, lump, little blue dune buggy and of course kitty and a closing we're not gonna make it...
Body is the ultimate banger
Okay there's definitely some changes to a song I really liked that I didn't care for and then there was a song maybe songs I don't recall being on the original album...checked out wtf👀
I thought that We Are Not Going to Make is a cover of Tracy Lorde's Last Lovers.
Happy Presidents Day.... Sadly this one is screwing us
Panjang betul nama band ni....
Why does it sound like stranger is being performed by Ween? I have never heard this version of this song before.
What city would you love to see them in?
This album is my familiar
Hamburber🎉❤❤❤
had to steal this out the library, whats up! lol
