is there a correct height for placing the boutonniere or it is just preference? I once did it pretty at the same level as my pocket square. I do think that that the most balance position is in the middle of the top of the tie and pocket square.
Completely wrong. Admittedly, she has pinned it better than most who continue to pin it to the lapel. However, the correct way is to go through the buttonhole. Unfortunately, buttonholes keep getting bigger and bigger and women have convinced men to pin it on the lapel because of this. It looks ridiculous and is not correct. It looks clumsy.
