i died over 10 times in this quest. i just beat it by watching your guide, the main thing that really gave me the boost was using dragon bolts and turning off the high intensity music lol so i could just focus on the sound efects

For a slight potion upgrade for those having trouble, extended super antifire MIX is the best as you can upgrade your shield slot, and it heals you when you drink it.

Looks so easy. Reading from the guide it’s intimidating but if they just simply put oh avoid tsunami there will be 1 space to pass thru every phase is the same besides that part just avoid his fireball /rock and make sure your pray is on when turned off. Guy switches spots so many times it’s no big deal 😆
@@KhaiRs on his last phase, I got stuck in one of his whirlwinds and I thought I was absolutely fucked, killed him with a bolt spec right before his fireball could hit me... Was the most satisfying thing ever lol. Thank you!
IDK whats up but Im getting hit like 18's with same set up as you... is 99 Def like a big difference? ALso only have like 85 range... do you need 90 because im hitting too many 0's for this to make since
I died doing the metal dragons bc I’ve never killed an addy or rune dragon and didn’t know they had specials😂. Then I got too focused at the start like 3 times on the metal dragons and got one shot by Galvek’s fireball.
@@chldshflmngo2283 it really doesn't lol. it's not +10% flat it's multiplicative. So 10% of 10% for diamond bolts for 1% and 10% of 6% for ruby which is .6%.
Got him down to just a quarter of his health that time. Dragon Hunter Crossbow makes a massive difference, as well as getting the mechanics down mentally!
Gotcha. So if I can manage a range pray flick that would minimize damage there? I’m low level so I may need to. Starting the quest tonight. Great guide and I appreciate the help

After the second phase he starts to use the ranged attacks much more commonly. So u can use protect from range in the third and fourth phase but they are random. Thanks for the comment! 😄

I beat him thanks to you. If you guys are struggling. Use Sara brew/super restore combos it definitely changes the entire fight

Try to use protect from ranged after the 1st phase. He uses random range attacks after that phase. That may help!
using bandos and not sheild can fck u up if he does fire off the bat.

What is the small red attack in phase 3? I saw it hit an 11 and a 27 on you while praying mage. Is it a range attack?

@@TristanMStahl It could work because you have ranged gear so u have some protection against magic, but they are much common than the ranged ones
what plugin gives your prayer under your hp on your character
go to your configuration settings and write prayer. then check the "show prayer bar" and it's done!
