Surok Fight - Potential Hotfix for Elemental Special doing no damage earlier (BRING ALL ELEMENTAL SPELLS)
Strong Warrior - Cast Weaken Spell then kill
Agile Warrior - Cast Bind or Entangle then kill
Elemental Spell Special - Cast opposite elemental spell of whatever is shot at you at each flying spell
Air vs. Earth
Fire vs. Water
that didnt chip damage me those spells where hitting 40s what am i doing wrong

@@Kaxinhoxd Do you have ''No bad alchs'' plugin? Slipped my mind it could be that. I will disable it just to be sure and confirm in like an hour :D

@@Kaxinhoxd You have to have high alch warnings disabled for untradable items.
For the balance elemental I'd recommend switching prayers before gear just to be on the safe side

Same here, got hit a 45, even tho I did the counter elemental attack
@@markv.8279 i got KO'd by a 45, 39 and a 36 b2b2b. I was so dumbfounded when these guys making these vids are only getting hit for 4s..
it was bugged on release
you use 'weaken' on the strong warrior 'entangle' on the agile warrior
If you're having trouble on the balanced elemental, don't worry about gear switching in the final phase. Just focus on his attack style and your prayer switches. He seemed to eventually switch to whatever overhead prayer I wasn't attacking with and I was able to kill him that way
Thats what i was thinking watching. It switches so fast just make sure ur protections are good hell come back around
he didn't switch for me. he just stayed praying range and melee for like 4 mins straight

Can you pray against that drain attack? It always hits like a truck and drains so much prayer and stats
I'm confused because the attack where he throws rocks when switching style.. I cant seem to pray correctly it not consistent

Well, most people who would bother to make a quest guide this early are established channels who have likely been playing OSRS for a long time and have max capes and endgame gear. When you have the HP and gear these channels likely have you can just facetank all of the shit and walk on Surok so to them its not nearly as devastating. Whereas for me with 80 HP, I learned very quickly how to deal with these things.

The bosses seem quite easy tbh. Only the second one could be troublesome if you forget to change prayers. Before having even attempted the boss, I guess the best advice would be to first change prayers, then change attack style.
Last Boss fight is basically this; Keep ur cool and always have the correct overhead prayer. He changes attacks 4 attacks. 1st had an animation then 3 haven't or 1st has no animation then 3 have. Just count to 4 and u good. Last phase: the style he attacks with is the style he is weak against. Pray overhead then atk him with the same style.
why am I being stat drained constantly even when praying correctly?

Fire and Water cancel each other.
This is not a rock paper scissors thing, this is a "they destroy each other" thing.

I haven’t gotten to do this quest yet, but is WGS in 07 exactly the same as it was or did they add any significant changes to make it unique to 07’s lore?

Interesting potential mechanic. I've saw a few of these comments but watching other streams from earlier nobody I saw experienced this
His damage ramps the longer your In the fight I killed him quick but my buddy didn't and was getting smacked constant 40s it's kinda timed

Totally wrong on how much elemental spells dmg you, it’s like 40 not 4.
I honestly thought they just hotfixed it without a word. Everything I saw was saying the same thing of "If you protect mage then these do like nothing", but I choked on a kill trying to greed the boss thinking the 3 surges would "do 18 tops" from what I read. Suddenly it's just insta death. I could see them hotfixing it without a word because they did mention maybe doing a balancing pass as people felt this quest was too easy despite the buffs. The fact people can more or less look at Surok, declare "Mechanics are for cars" because their stats are high enough and facetank him effortlessly is a massive oversight imo.

This quest was so frikin easy, ds2 felt more challenging. This was a master quest at most

so this is complete bullshit. You do have to counter the spells with the opposite element or you get hit for 30+

It's because you spent too long killing him the damage ramps up the longer it takes you I never got hit over 20 because I killed him quick don't blame him because you suck
