I had a lot of silicone molds but let me tell you, this mold right here! I bought 6 of these and they made making cocoa bombs so much easier and faster!
Thank you for sharing this today! My sweet daughter is at home sick with Covid. She has three children 3 and under, has no sense of taste or smell, and is the BIGGEST Christmas girl I know. She’s been feeling so left out this week! I’m sending this video to her to help cheer her up! I know that it will bless her!
Ok, so this whole choco bombs is a first for me. Yep, a beginner and I just want to give them to my co-workers as gifts! I was just searching UA-cam for info and I ran across your wonderfully informative and funny video. Thank you for sharing your techniques! I'm going to try them!
This freaking video made me soooo happy 💝💝💝💝💝 from the ball pooping marshmallow to the last reaction 🤣👏 OH! And BTW , thank you for taking the time to explain why you shouldn’t do certain things with visuals. Most ppl say don’t do this, but they don’t say why.
Лиз,вы прекрасны.Я конечно не понимаю,что вы говорите,но уже несколько раз делала шокобомбочки и имею представление о процессе. Но у вас отличные новые идеи увидела.Удачи!!!
Thanks for watching!! For more info about hot chocolate bombs, check out my blog post ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ sugargeekshow.com/recipe/shiny-chocolate-bombs-with-marshmallows/
The snowman was neat melting too..But the pink inside was like Snowman blood...then Unicorn...Love your grinch also and these molds rule! Thank you for awesome video.
I bought the molds and they’re so helpful! Thank you. I had to make tons of hot cocoa bombs to give away as Christmas gifts and cheated by using the Ghirardelli melts but found out it was a mistake bc just holding the cocoa bomb shells in my hand with gloves on, it started to melt from the heat of my hand 🤦🏽♀️
Perfectly timed video as I was planning to make some today 😎 Now I have more ideas and many great tips! Too bad I already ordered moulds because those look much easier! Thank you
Please make a video on mirror glaze.... A detailed one like chocolate ganache explaining what can go wrong and how can we fix mirror glaze...i love the way u explain everything.
Last year I sold a ton and was able to buy all of the Christmas gifts as this is an add on to small business. This year, not so much since everyone now know how to make them and many don't have a license to sell. It's super frustrating as a small business when you do everything the legal right way to see others thrive that aren't legal :( . Say a prayer for every small business trying to thrive this year
Awesome vid, thanks so much. I am having trouble getting my chocolate out of my 3pc does this happen to you I have only used them once now it wont come out any suggestions? I used the wax to mix into for temping it.
I love your recipes they look so yummy! I also love the visual presentation of your video. I make cooking videos as well. Let's learn from one another! I subscribed and look forward to future videos!
Its the only molds to use and they come in many shapes and sizes. Got me 6 of these molds in hearts, bombs, dinos 2 year's ago before they were selling out and would not be without these molds. The 70mm is the size to go with if you enjoy a 12oz to 16oz cup of cocoa and not 8oz cup.
So I’ve just made hot chocolate bombs in these moulds for the first time, but when I’ve taken them out of the fridge and tried to remove them from the moulds they are stuck? The silicone part came out and the chocolate is still in the main moulds. How do I get them out without damaging them?
Did you add anything to the halves to seal them or just press them together? My eyes saw but my mind won't believe lol. Thanks so much for this video, pooping marshmallows and all! And the classics don't go old, especially when produced by Pharrell... but I'm also 40. 🤷🏾♀️😂
I melted them both on a warm plate to melt the chocolate edges, then sealed them together. You can also pipe a little bit of melted chocolate onto the edge to seal them 😊
Yes definitely! If you leave them out for 24-48 hours they’ll harden a bit and can last for a while. Maybe not years like the bagged ones but pretty long 😂
S G S, your channel popped (not pooped) up after 2 years of seeing you for the first time. with advancing age my memory is fading and i'm glad your channel resurfaced. i know i know - subscribe. click. done!
Love these molds but if you lose one of the little silicone inserts you can't get replacements. I had one magically disappear right off the kitchen table
I just purchased 3 part molds and was so excited to use them, the first 2 times I use them they popped out perfect and I use them today and 8 out of 13 stuck and would not pop out First at all. I do use the bakers Aldi brand chocolate melts. Does my chocolate have to be a certain temperature and the instructions said let your chocolate set for like 12 minutes You have any advise for me I'm really frustrated because the reason I purchased these is it supposed to be easy and time saving today Definitely wasn't that.

You are still funny as hell. Pooping out marshmallows that was so funny not just to watch good to hear you say it made it even funnier. Thank you for sharing and keep on caking. 🎄🤶🎅💖
Tempering chocolate is super easy! Lots of tutorials online. Mine worked first time and I had never tried before. It's so worth it using real chocolate. Those candymelts are just.... well... not very nice.
$40 for a hot chocolate bomb is too expensive for this disabled person on a very limited income unfortunately can't even afford to buy food after I pay my bills. So many of you wouldn't think twice about buying them wish I could with 11 grandkids they would love them. Thanks for sharing this with us just wish it was more reasonable for me.
If you have a Trader Joe’s nearby, they have beautiful hot cocoa bombs that come to $1.75 a piece. They come in sets of four and look like beautiful Christmas ornaments.
@@SugarGeekShow oh thanks so much for letting me know you made my Christmas come early. Bless your heart for letting me know. I'm so excited 😁 now that you took time to tell me about it. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
@@brendasnider7130 another trend right now is to use 3oz Dixie cups as a mold. You can easily get a generic brand and duplicate it. The only downside is you have to make a chocolate top to cover it, but it's much more affordable and you could make all the cocoa molds in one run. 😊 To make the chocolate tops, cut the top third of the cups, flip it over so the mouth is flat to your surface, fill with a thin layer of chocolate and chill.
suggestion: Put marshmallows in first, then add chocolate. It makes it easier to get in more of both. Just a thought. Great video.
I had a lot of silicone molds but let me tell you, this mold right here! I bought 6 of these and they made making cocoa bombs so much easier and faster!
Good morning. Is it available on Amazon

I got my molds yesterday. My bombs came out perfect. I’ve never made bombs in my life. These molds were so easy to use.
Excellent tips in this video...especially for the Gold Dusting task! Amazing!

How do you get the chocolate out once set I tried getting it out but mold cracked I was so pissed
Beautiful video, humour and education.. thankyou so so much!!!
I love these molds. I have a variety of shapes now and adding to my collection. I will never use different molds in my life. 😁

Thanks Liz, now I know how to use them…looks like tons of fun…!
Always love your videos, Liz!
This was so fun to watch! The pooping gingerbread made me laugh out loud! How do you wrap these to give them for gifts?

Ghirardelli chocolate melts is my go to.
Does these work for isomalt?
Loved this tutorial!

Can we add gel food coloring to tempered chocolate? 🤷🏻♀️🤔
Where do you get the crystalized sugar?

Hi...
Where'd you get the tiny, tiny marshmallows? Are they the concentrated ones?
Thanks...

Are these molds a one time use kind of deal? Im asking because it seems like the inner insert gets all wrinkly.
Nope I’ve reused my many times! Just make sure to clean and dry them well
First time watching your video you're funny my wife and I were both laughing
One of my students gave me some of these for a teacher gift but I don't know how much milk to use? And that snowman was really cool.
Hi Liz, can you use these molds to make Hot Tea Bombs...If so, can you do a tutorial please? Have a blessed Holiday Season!
Thank you!!

@@SugarGeekShow wonderful! Thanks so much. ❤️
Could you use homemade marshmallows inside? I assume they would have to be used faster than if you stuck with the store bought marshmallows?
Yes definitely! If you leave them out for 24-48 hours they’ll harden a bit and can last for a while. Maybe not years like the bagged ones but pretty long 😂
I know the song!
But I was thinking the green bomb you could use white chocolate powder. So it doesn't look swampy

What's the name of the mold and where can I buy them? Thank you

So were the ones with the best pop action made with real tempered chocolate? Is that why they opened up nicer? 🤔
Yes good catch! Tempered chocolate had a lower melting temperature than candy melts, so the bombs popped open better.
Love these molds but if you lose one of the little silicone inserts you can't get replacements. I had one magically disappear right off the kitchen table
Actually you can buy just the inserts

What is the real name of that mold that you are working with now. Thanks for the answer and greetings from Serbija.
I'm going to mark my calender to commemorate the day I discovered The Sugar Geek Show as a national holiday.
I have only the plastic form and I can't get the chocolate out of the mold. What can I do? 😥😁😥
Nice!
the three set mold is just inconvenient as you end up with to many pieces to wash later?
Liz u look soooooo beautiful 😍😍😍😍
Wow interesting
You look beautiful Liz
Marshmallow poop!!😂🤣😂🤣❤️
🤣👍🏼 “ pooping marshmallows!”
I don't know man I looked at that snowman and I thought oh my god he has guts
Paused to comment because... I did indeed sing "drop it like it's hot, drop it like it's hot".
Lol
Would love to see a tutorial on a 4” mini cake !:)

That snowman was bleeding!
The untempered green shell looks like a Granny Smith apple. Lol
Juicy 🎈🎈🎈 🏆🙂🙏🏼
Swamp vibes 🤣🤣🤣
I purchased three of these molds, two of them cracked on the first use. I was so disappointed.
Lemon meringue pie
Is this mold really 50$?
I mean you are getting a set of 4 for that price. But still really $. I love my silicone mold. Cheap easy and effective.
Cheaper on Amazon for the same mold

I thought this was about molds. 2:00 in….I’m out✌🏾
