This game took me back to the days when I would play with my miniature Batman action figure and pit him against an army of toy foes of all shapes and sizes from stuffed bears to army men and have him defeat them all with his Batman awesomeness. This game is THAT fantasy that I lived out in my imagination as a child, playing this game is what I saw in my head. I can't describe how much fun it is to bring something like that to life as an adult and have it be exactly as you imagined. Rock on Rocksteady!
I think so too!Skyrim has better story and more things to do but arkham city has better gameplay that can't become dull,especially if you play the challenge maps and it was more interesting exploring.Also,the game breaking glitches were annoying and destroyed my whole progress once!Finally,arkham city makes you feel like you are the batman which is more interesting in my opinion than what skyrim has to offer!

Origins was like City but buggier and with a worse story. Knight is unplayable on PC so I can't rate it.

I would have gave this a 10. In a way, I'm glad I didn't get this on release. I didn't give this a second thought until I saw the GOTY Edition of Asylum and City last year in my local game store for $20 and I am so glad I got it. With all the DLC and the game itself, really is the best choice I have ever made. The attention to the tiniest details and the amount of easter eggs is a Batman fan's dream come true. Arkham Knight will be the ultimate, definitive Batman experience.

Best in the series by far. Everything about it was amazing. The whole demon trials and wonder city part of the story was the best. I'll rank the games wtb 4.arkham knight: amazing game best combat in the series but the story and characters were lacking depth. Biggest map yet but terrible bosses such as deathstroke and two face 3.arkham asylum: this games story was really fun and walking through the empty halls of arkham asylum was super fun. I loved the easter eggs in this game and whilst the bosses were terrible, the jumpscares and combat were great. I felt that there wasn't much to do and being stuck on arkham island was a bit boring. The game got to repetitive also 2.arkham origins: strong story amazing villains and a big map were some of the greatest things about this game. I absolutely loved the twist and I loved the jokers depth and being able to play as him in the main story. Bane and joker were my favourite things about this game and the boss fights were the best in the series. The fact that it took me an hour to defeat deathstroke(my favourite boss) justifies that. The only oroblems were that the game had too many bugs, villains such as deadshot and shiva weren't in the game and the assassins lacked depth. 1.arkham city:loved the story couldn't stop playing it and I loved the complexity and the fact that villains rook their territory and had gang wars. The main plot and sideplot were spectacular and I loved that they intertwined and the voice acting was amazing too. My favourite thing about this game was the demon trials and wonder city. Harley quinns revenge was great playing as robin and catwoman was great and the bosses were great here too. Nothing wrong with this game. Also the easter eggs are the best in the series.

I’m playing this on PC right now ( may 2022) It’s mind blowing how much detail there is Go to a high building, spin the camera around and soak in the many buildings, neon lights, the night sky, the city in the distance, and the two helicopters and blimp flying around. It’s a sight to behold, and to imagine it played on PS3 and XBOX 360!!! Also, the mr. freeze fight was perfection

Best game ever. I judge a games greatness by how playable it is two years down the road and I still play this game all the time and enjoy it just as much as I did when it came out.
They are two completely two different games. you can't even compare the two. Assassin's Creed is about history and politics. Batman is about superheroes and saving the world. They both have two different elements of gameplay and both have an amazing range of visuals. so before you say one is better ... use your brain and realise they both kick ass in their own way.

I had fun collecting all the available trophies on the way, when you know where they are and you collect as many as possible, it gives you more experience which in turn gives you all new moves to diversify the main game. Off topic, I am not a fan of Batman, but this game is probably my pick of Game of The year! I couldn't ever be bothered to play Arkham Asylum though, may give it another shot one day.
Kevin Conroy really is the voice of Batman, much as Mark Hamill is the voice of Joker. Then you throw Rocksteady Games in the mix. And then you realise why the Arkham Asylum and City games were so amazing. Bought both games yet again. Heard City will be a b***h to plat though lol.

It's linked in a way. Joker is seriously ill from using Titan in Arkham Asylm, it really damaged his body, that's why he's slowly dying in Arkham City.
Like I said earlier..in campaign it isnt noticable and getting gold medals it isnt a problem at all..but getting the perfect combo trophy is when the problem really stands out
guys, batman arkham city is a sure 10 of of 10 because even though side missions pop up while your trying to beat the story, ignore them until your finished with the entire game! take my advice and this game will become your 10 out of 10!

Batman is about superheroes and saving the world.
They both have two different elements of gameplay and both have an amazing range of visuals. so before you say one is better ... use your brain and realise they both kick ass in their own way.
this game is something special, best super hero game of all time, just superb atmosphere, story, gameplay, sound and level design, Arkham City is bliss

Arkham knight uses the batmobile a lot and I'm gonna add something if The arkham Knights knows batman he would have put people inside the fricken drones
I would love a flash/arrow game based on the CW shows. Running around at super speed to fight crime and capture metahumans would be cool

A game about The Flash would be amazing, let's just hope that it's not a flash game, sorry, terrible pun, but hopefully it would be as good as the series

But does it make me FEEL like Batman?
YES
I had fun collecting all the available trophies on the way, when you know where they are and you collect as many as possible, it gives you more experience which in turn gives you all new moves to diversify the main game.
Off topic, I am not a fan of Batman, but this game is probably my pick of Game of The year! I couldn't ever be bothered to play Arkham Asylum though, may give it another shot one day.

Kevin Conroy really is the voice of Batman, much as Mark Hamill is the voice of Joker. Then you throw Rocksteady Games in the mix.
And then you realise why the Arkham Asylum and City games were so amazing.

A bitch to plat. Basically its a difficult game to get all the trophies which eventually will unlock the platinum for you. This is a feature for the Playstation 3.

It's linked in a way. Joker is seriously ill from using Titan in Arkham Asylm, it really damaged his body, that's why he's slowly dying in Arkham City.

Like I said earlier..in campaign it isnt noticable and getting gold medals it isnt a problem at all..but getting the perfect combo trophy is when the problem really stands out
guys, batman arkham city is a sure 10 of of 10 because even though side missions pop up while your trying to beat the story, ignore them until your finished with the entire game! take my advice and this game will become your 10 out of 10!
