This is the LIFE Ending -- one of the two choices you make during the final Chapter: Black Sun. This is probably considered the canon 'true' ending of the game, because in the closing credits they actually show a glimpse of this scene, with both Zoey and Jodie standing together when the giant Infraworld rift opens.
I'm not sure why Zoey is the only one that can save the world -- she seems to have the ability to channel entities, as seen in the other endings, but where it manifested from, I don't know. Tuesday/Eliza didn't seem to have any special abilities, so the powers must have came from the father, possibly.

I like this ending the best personally; I could never forgive Ryan or trust him after what he did and the romance with Jay felt forced. These people took in Jodie when she had nothing, shared with her, cared for her and accepted her for who she was no strings attached. They never used her for their own means or lied to her, and now she has someone who is hinted to be like her after having no one before.
Plus, look how happy they all are to see her!
they were like her second family when she didnt have one.
The only this I don't like about this ending is thae fact that Aiden didn't show up

I felt Stan and co were the only ones to truly accept her for who she was, without needing convincing.
And oh yea, ballsy for a developer known for NOT making sequels to sequelbait as much happened here. Yet it...felt like it was enough. Page and Defoe and co made this great. Amazing performances.

This is my favourite ending and I reckon Aiden is still there but would show himself later on cause zoey maybe has some spirit with her and he doesn't need to show himself (yet) if this isn't what's right then I will cry for him not being with her
I think this would be a better ending she has a family and can always still have a chance with Ryan or Jay

I dunno, the Ryan ending may have seemed like a happy ending but considering what he did to her throughout the game, that ending didn't quite sit well with me

Fishbones he really did love her at the end though, when you look into the life option, Ryan is crouching & saying he loves her, he truly did! That's one of the reasons I chose life over beyond.

Is Zoey attached to Aiden at the end? Zoey has the only ending that doesn't have Aiden give Jodie the "Still Here" message. Maybe I'm over thinking it, but maybe that's where Aiden went for some unexplained reason after he got separated with Jodie.
I'm sure Zoey is because Jodie even said the only one that can save the world is a little girl, which was obviously Zoey.

I also noticed in the other 3 endings, Jodie says "I'm no longer afraid of death. I've already died twice" but doesnt say this in the Zoey ending
I think she has her own entity or other paranatural connection, there's no reason for Aiden to become connected to her

this is definitely the best & happiest path. it's so nice to see that stan, walter, jimmy, tuesday, and zoey all turned out alright, had a home, had everything that they needed & were no longer homeless. jodie had nothing to give to them & they accepted her anyway, no strings attached. they shared the little they had with her and cared for her. they were like the only real family she ever had, other than cole & nathan & aiden. and seeing them all together again makes me so happy. & the ending with jodie and zoey also interests me, the idea that zoey is like jodie and that they're gonna save the world together is so interesting!! this is for sure the best ending. 😊
Best fucking ending of them all
This ending was the most logical ending. With regards to Aiden not being shown. I am confident that he contacted Jodie. With regards to the sequel, I hoped that David Cage would create the sequel especially with this ending giving a big sign. Perhaps the storyline, could have been such as the CIA will kidnap Jodie not realizing that she is not connected to Aiden and that Zoey will rescue her etc. I just wish they could create a sequel, Who knows what the future will hold after all I guess it all depends on the fans and the creators about the future of any given title.
I can imagine how things go after this moment.
After a day of catching up & such, Jodie ask if they know of any jobs because she wants to stay with them, but do her share. Tuesday remembers that she can play guitar & says the bar she's working at is looking for a musician. So Jodie goes & gets the job, it's part time & minimum wage, but, it's honest money & she earned it herself. So she contributes to the house budget. After a few weeks she's becoming happier & getting use to her new simple life with those people that care about her & never lied/tricked/or used her. She writes to Jay & his family & Cole, letting them know she was ok, but never telling where she was. Then realized Zoey's birthday is coming up & her & the others all pitch in & they throw a small party for Zoey's 1st birthday, where they sing happy birthday, give her a present they bought together, & have cake & ice cream in that apartment that they made into a home
To be honest i dont give a fuck about Zoey i just liked Stan =))))

Ryan does nothing to earn that. Anything positive Ryan does, Cole does as well and without being insufferable for the first half of his screen-time.

I liked this ending the most because the hobos were the only characters I liked.
Love this ending, not like love. Maybe everybody wanted her to end up with Ryan, but these people loved and accepted her simply because they were good people. They never used her, lied to her, or saw her as anything more but Jodie. And as a bonus she gets Zoey, someone who will grow up to understand her.
this is the Best ending, no doubt about it, Ryan is just a boy and this is about how she saves the damn world
I like this ending because Zoey ends up being with her during the end of the world and has a "gift", but I dont like this ending because it's not known whether Aidan is with Jodie this choice around.
I think you guys are a little confused Jodie isn't Zoey's entity she is if you choose beyond but if you choose life then she is still alive. I don't Zoey even have a entity. You see Jodie's mom just had telekinesis a normal power no entity so when she had her children, Aiden and Jodie, the powers was passed down to Aiden not Jodie but of course he was stillborn. The only reason Jodie had the "powers" she did was because Aiden stuck around and cared about her. Zoey herself I believe has the same powers has Aiden and Jodie's mother I believe that Jodie is just guiding and helping her to get comfortable with her powers so it can be her turn to save the world. In my own opinion I really thought this was the best ending because Aiden was gone. He stuck around to keep Jodie safe and take care of her cuz he loved her but if he wasn't around that meant TO ME she was in good hands and Aiden is a ghost a dead man. He sadly never lived an actually life so I'm kind of happy he went to the beyond

+deonna metcalf That's what is being said. Zoey's entity is Jodie only when Jodie dies. No one knows Zoey's 'gift' or whether or not she has an entity when Jodie remains alive. It's quite the mystery.

In response to uploader's comment "This is probably considered the canon 'true' ending of the game" in the 'About' tab, personally feel that the canon is the Beyond ending after saving everyone.
Not going to lie when Stan opens the door and sees Jodie I just started crying because it was just such a happy epilogue. I'm still undecided which ending i prefer but this and "Beyond" are probably my favorites.
I like this ending a lot better besides the ending with Jay ;3

He's probably still there. Maybe he just noticed that it was Zoey's turn to help Jodie out. Zoey DOES perhaps share some supernatural powers like Jodie.

This could have been the best ending, to go back to all of them and meet/help to raise Zoey, but the fact that Aiden doesn't come back for it just kills me and nearly ruins this ending for me. Almost. I guess Jodie/Aiden's relationship was way more important to me than the rest, and having them separated for the rest of her life was too much. Besides, I wasn't crazy about the very end anyways, looking at the destruction of the city, talking of saving the world, that felt really silly in all the endings and it didn't help that this storyline just added more to it.

Best ending. I fell in love with the homeless people when I played their section of the game.
I think of this as the true ending, since it's the one shown in the ending credits of the game.

Agreed. Jodie's mom (and dad?) had paranormal powers and I assume that was passed on to both siblings, which enabled the unique situation Jodie and Aiden had. What I find interesting is that there is no ending where Jodie has a child of her own, joining her on the mission to save the world in the flash forward at the end. Maybe she didn't want a child, knowing what was coming.

Anyone notice that Jodie flickers while hugging Stan? Seems odd and not something that would be a bug and get past QA... That was put there on purpose but I don't know why.
On wikipedia it says the creators are making Infrared for 2016, guess thats a sequel to this.

The other girl is Zoey which is Tuesday/Eliza's girl that you deliver during the game.
I think this is the ending or the alone ending is what the next game will be based on. I just wish Aiden said still here in this one.
This is my favorite ending,I mean Jodie literally saw her born and there's this big sister vibe. No romantic interest,and is really badass bc we have _two_ female characters that will _save the world_ one day!

This ending is heart warming and yeah thats like the only downside of it for me, I think thats part of the reason why some people dislike it.

yeah I noticed that. Which is one of the reasons I prefer Jodie going Beyond. She sees what Aiden saw and now can be to Zoey what Aiden was to her; a watchful protector.
This is my favorite final, so I chosed it, I mean, these guys where the first ones to help Jodie when she had almost nothing giving her part of the little they had, I considerate them which more gratitude deserve and I though Jodie would help them in the future.
Spoiler alert:
The two little things I didn't like about, 1-Aiden didn't contact Jodie on this one. 2-I would like that they extended a little more on this to explain how they found jobs, maybe with Jodie's help, and what happened with the criminals which harassed them? However, as I said, this is my favorite ending.
Jodie and Zoey will save the world as Aiden protects them and guards them it's like a two players game and everyone wins plus no one says that Aiden is gone she just forgot him for now

Everyone disagrees with this ending and I don't know why. It's probably because Jay and Ryan are really hardcore love interests and people want Jodie to be with one of them. But this ending touches my heart. I can't get my finger on it but all of them being together as a team or family is just so heart warming!
