These are all the endings to the game, Beyond: Two Souls.
There are only minor differences in these endings, and that depends on who dies and who lives in the game. The BEYOND Ending allows you to join the Infraworld, along with Aiden, and Shimisani (and possibly Cole, Norah, and Paul if they died in the game).
The LIFE Ending allows you 4 choices to choose from: Ryan, Jay, Zoey, or Alone.
In all of the endings, it results in a dark future where either Jodie or Zoey alone, will have to face the dark Infraworld rift that has opened. Only the 'Life Ending - Choose Zoey' option will have BOTH Jodie and Zoey together in the physical form.
If Cole dies in the game, Jodie won't send him any letters, or visit him as an entity. Instead, the game shows a grave site and tombstone with Cole's name. There is no change in dialogue whether or not Ryan loses his eye.

There should have been an ending where Jodie gets to help Cole with his research or something. Cole is awesome.

I was glad we didn't see Aiden's face. Aiden was never born, he was only a spirit so he never really had an appearance. I think it adds to the intention of the game; spirits/entities/our loved ones who have passed are still with us even if we can't see them

Aiden never let Jodie know he was still there when she went with the homeless people but did with everyone else.

But technically? Jodie knows right? Because her and Zoey go and fight the end of the world together because they both have 'gifts'?
What most people missed is that after you go into the condenser, Aiden is no longer bound to you, that little cutscene of Jodie meeting him only for him to fade was him being unbound from her soul. Yes aiden comes back to Jodie after he find a way to comeback, however they are no longer “bound”
(From this point it’s just my theory)
Since Aiden is different from the rest of the spirits as he only visited the spirit world ones (with Jodie in the end) and born and raised by a human host, he retains the ability to interact with the world (similar is with Jodie if you chose beyond as she technically has a human host to go (zoey) to yet not fully bound)
Here is a bonus fact about the game that many people also missed.
If you choose life Jodie talks about how she has problems with memory and keeps seeing flashes of random images with no meaning in her life. That is where the whole game takes place, that’s why the game is seemingly in random order of time. It’s just Jodie trying to write down her life into a meaningful way piece by piece

I liked all the endings exept the “alone” one. I didn’t hate it, but it just feels like after all she passed trough, she really needs someone. Someone that when she needs to save the world again will be there with her.
Hey I'm late, but I actually picked that option on my first playthrough and well it made the ending to the game really depressing.
It does feel like it has some sort of follow up for a sequel, but in all honesty I think we should of had an option to stay with Cole.
If your wondering what ending I think is the best. Ryan or Zoey, Ryan seems like the most obvious and if they were going to make a sequel seems like the most likely option. Zoey, is probably the most happy ending to the game, cause going back to the homeless people after years. And at first glance they still remember who you are and what you did for them. And it also shows that Zoey's baby has the same exact powers as Jodie.
And the ending of the Zoey ending really feels awesome to see the 'nightmare' cutscene changed with a new character in the scene.

Yeah the alone option is hot garbage.
Ryan is the most fulfilling and satisfying conclusion. Zoey should be incorporated into that IMO. There's no reason not to have a husband and be friends with the former homeless crew at the same time. However it is interesting to watch all the endings on a video like this one. And I feel the Jay relationship wasn't fleshed out enough to really be a real option.
Also, the "Beyond" is great if you want to fucking *CRY*. But in my opinion, she still seems pretty sad and alone there. It would be nice if it showed her hanging out with her mom and Paul and Shimasani.
I feel like it should be between just Beyond and Life. Beyond is to cry and give in and Life is to be happy and be with Ryan and the homeless crew

i know it's been 7 years, but i have to disagree. We can see Aiden leaving the message "still here". She may not see them, but they're there for her! Aiden returned and even though not forced to stay, decided to do so. Imo this is literally so beautiful seeing what their relationship was like when Jodie was just a child, how they wanted to get rid of the connection, and yet when it doesn't exist anymore, Aiden decided to come back.

Fuck this game. I love it and hate it. I just want Jodie to be with Aiden. Forever. But none of the endings satisfy me. I don't want her to be alone, but the only way you see Aiden is when you go with Ryan, and I think he's a complete asshole. I don't really care for Zoey. I wanted the story to have an ending. Not some shit about another girl, who's not Jodie. I'm just lying in a pool of tears because this is the best and worst game that I have ever known.

The way Ryan reacts when Jodie dies.. as much as I thought he was a total asshole and didnt ship him and Jodie AT ALL.. that reaction redeems him for me.. he begs her to wake up before coming to the stunning realization and just sobbing.. brings tears to my eyes errytime ;_;

The Zoey ending really is the best, though it bothers me how shortchanged the Jay ending seems compared to the others.
I love how the story makes us view the paranormal activities differently. Usually, these activities means something bad is going (flickering lights for example) but it turned it into something hopeful and comforting (Aiden saying he’s still here)

This game did some of the finest story telling I've ever seen in any video game. Heck, it would have been pretty impressive even as a movie.
Even two years later, the part starting at 22:34 still blows me away.

I think it stands alone so well. Its cheesy to say but it damn near changed my life. As a person with seemingly blunted emotions, I was amazed and surprised at how emotional this art made me. I was reminded of how strongly I could feel.
You're right. Heavy Rain, Detroit and Beyond Two Souls are the most heartbreaking yet gripping, enthralling games I've ever played. I mean, the concept and the emotions they convey are unlike anything else! I cried for days after finishing them three despite choosing the best ending for each. Jodie ended up with Ryan and it felt right.
The beyond ending makes me cry every time. She finally gets to be at peace after a life of turmoil and it just...hits home for me. 😢 And the music that plays as Jodie is walking into the beyond just gives you that feeling of liberation.

If y'all remember, the homeless people were there for her at her worst. They knew nothing about jodey but they still helped her. They helped build eachother up and now Jodey joined. Zoey plays also a huge role in my decision. That ending where she and jodey were standing there was dooope

There are two other beyond endings along the one shown in this video. The first one is we're almost everyone dies (besides Jay, Tuesday, Zoey and another one). It only happens when you blame Nathan and he tries to shoot Jodie but Ryan jumps in front of her. I guess that's still okay because it's almost like the Beyond ending here. However there's another one where Jodie doesn't succeed in destroying the Black Sun and everything get's destroyed and goes to hell. I don't know how you get there but that is such an extreme ending! You should look at it, it's on UA-cam :)

Yes, after the stuff she was put through and seeing who was there without wanting something im return when she needed help, the Zoey ending was the best one for the way my story went.

To walk on the line between life and beyond seems so incredible to me. I mean to see both life and death, which one are you? Alive or dead? That's what she was. Or. For that minute or minutes she was both alive and dead. Unless it's merged, everything is split. If our world was merge, we could actually see the dead. Hear their voices. But we can't, so there is a line. If you are on that line, you can actually hear both the living and the dead. You can see both. So this was amazing to see

I chose life and Ryan although after I picked life I kinda felt like I'd made a mistake and I should have stayed with Aiden. most people I've spoke to about this game picked life and Tuesday. For me Tuesday's and Jay's characters didn't have as much as an impact as Ryan's did.
Ryan's a jerk that has proven himself that he just simply can't stay nice for too long.
Uhhh If you have picked Life and Ryan then on the beach there is Aiden hitting you with a coconut and wrote on the sand "I'm still here"

Ryan is like 12 years older than her and was a jerk in several occasions, and Jay is a cool guy but they had not enough interaction to really spend their entire lives together
The Ryan ending is my favorite, and although I hated him I agree with Pewds. Zoey shouldn't have been an option, she didn't know Jay that long, killing herself... eh... and being alone seems even more depressing. In my opinion Ryan was the most logical choice.

I agree with you on Jay and Zoey, didn't think they were good ending choices. I guess thinking back on it Alone wasn't that bad of a choice, she practically was her whole life.
***** But in the Zoey ending she is helping Zoey to acheive the goal of a future without the entities, not just by herself, Zoey has the same power as Jodie. I prefer that one because it's her helping carve the future with someone. Also you come back in all of the endings so she's never truly alone anyway ;P

Chassy Hunter I dunno, they don't show it but she is still at the apocalyptic ending with Zoey, possibly showing that he came back later. And maybe they just didn't have time to show it in the 1 minute summary of the afterwards. :x

So I'm making a wild prediction here. In the Zooey ending, the still living Jodie helps her in the epidemic that will happen in the future. But when Jodie chooses death, her spirit is attached to Zoey just like Aiden was to Jodie. That's the wild guess for the Zoey and beyond endings though. The jay ending I'm thinking Aiden is still here but not attached.
I don't know, but I'm getting the feeling that there WILL be a beyond 2 game sometime to fallow up with the endings. C:

This is one of the best games ever , it’s so sad yet so happy at the same time ( I chose the Ryan ending and after a year or two she thinks Aidens gone then the Coconut rolls beside her and he writes in the sand “I’m still here” I just started crying it was so beautiful
1. Ryan's ending gives it a happier tone, but I don't know how it leads to the final battle.
2. The alone ending makes the most sense because her continued experience with the beyond leads her to Aiden, which in turn leads to the final battle.
3. Zoey's ending makes it possible for Jodie to train the little girl so they can both fight in the final battle.

the ryan ending is the best, alone is just depressing, she dosen't seem happy with jay and with zoey, i don't know it just seem odd that she would live with them

She is haply with Zoey. She is scared with all of them. And she went not just with Zoey but the homeless people who she knew cared about her more than Ryan and Jay together, and she saved 5 people from a house fire, sacrificed herself for them, beat someone up for Stan, and helped Tuesday give birth, and all that jazz. But Ryan was such a jerk, you could say that he changed but it is pretty hard to change. I have a feeling it could happen again. She gets scared in every ending.
I chose Zoey (and the ex-homeless people) because throughout the course of the game, they were the only people who treated you like a family. And that's what Jodie has been missing her whole life. A family. Though if Cole was an option I would immediately pick him.

I think all the endings are spectacular. But I think Zoeys/Tuesdays ending is pretty awesome because she gets to be with Zoey and train her. And at least Jodie will have some company, and it won't be that difficult for Zoey growing up with an entity. I feel bad for Ryan though I was starting to like him towards the end. The only downside is that Jodie had to sacrifice Aiden in Zoeys ending, and I think after what Aiden had done for her, she should repay him. But I guess if you choose the any other ending at least you have Aiden back. If you still want Aiden i think the best ending would be the Ryan one. It's actually a difficult choice to make between the two.
I totally love this game, can't wait for the prequel. You should watch PewDiePie play it, he's so amazing, I enjoyed all his story based walk through(and his normal crazy videos) , especially Heavy Rain, and The Last of Us. ♥♥♥ *brofisft*

omg omg if they make a second beyond 2 souls, they should make you play as Zoey ! Like have Jodie teach her and stuff omg it would be perfect ! Also I really hated choosing the ending in here. I wish you could be with everyone you met on here, like keep in touch with Jay and Corey, and Tuesday and her friends, that would be the perfect ending if you could with all of them because I feel that ending to this kind makes you forget the people you met on here they make you chose one person. I hope in the next game (if they make it) that jodie can be with all the people she met on here and not forget get them ! Because for Tuesday and the other characters built Jodie's character so I feel that they shouldn't be a fading memory.

Such a powerful game.... I was endlessly and contiously wattching pewdiepies episodes of beyond 2 souls, this game got me so attached and emotional. WOW.
Ryan ending is the best ending, she found love and Aiden was with her

i think that there is one final there is considered the True final, so the sequel continue from that true final. =)

I believe Ryan has changed. And in my opinion it's the best choice. Zoey choice is pretty nice too but i didn't want to see Ryan sad. Also Jay's ending looks a little sad to me. And Beyond ending is the saddest one for me, so... Yeah. I say Ryan.

Beyond two souls was one of the games with best story. Unfortunatelly the game focused more on story, than difficulty, so sometimes you miss all skillchecks, do all possible terrible decisions, and the game just keep continuing. I remember only in the CIA if I messed up the training, I had to do all that part again, but that was it. Still love that game. And yes, if you choose beyond, Aiden should show up and these two could talk. They had SO MUCH to talk about!!!

Jay looks like a nice guy, i agree, but where is the connection between you, as Jodie, and Jay? I mean, you barely talk to him, in a 10h game, you are with him about 20 minutes, i don't get it :/ But well, if i have to choose between the CIA douchebag and Jay, i'll pick Ray hands down.
The only reason you choose Jay is that Ryan's still a CIA so if he's not happy with you he will track you down and torture you.
