Thanks Shawn and Charlotte for the virtual visit … looks amazing! Excellent idea to visit while in Sweden then …So good to see you both sing like no one is watching
Saw this on the TV a few days ago, looks really interactive and a must see for all ABBA fans. I'm not a big fan but you really can't knock them as songwriters!
This was such a great tour video. I love seeing a travel video where the people making it are actually doing the things and having fun! Your Momma Mia got me to subscribe. Well done.
Shawn and Charlotte, It was adventure Shawn that started my watching your channels. The first time I saw you was when you reviewed Tower Bridge, after that I was hooked, but I wish more people subscribed since your adventures are so much fun! Cheers, Rik
Oh my goodness, I LOVE ABBA! I’ve listened to most of their major songs, and every one of them is a hit! ABBA seemed to be overlooked until the Mamma Mia musical came along, and I may not get the plot, but it more than makes up in music!
Guilty pleasure Waterloo and Mamma Mia are my main 2 karaoke songs!! Although I know all the Abba songs as have seen Mamma Mia in the west end, and both films multiple timez
Great video as usual, good to see the exhibit, thank you. Big fan of ABBA. But hey Shawn, don,t give you day job, leave the singing to Charlotte, He He 😀 Great to see you both out together. Keep up the great content. Stay Cool, Stay safe.
Audio mixers aren’t that big anymore as they pretty much have gone digital. The studio ones are basically projected onto a board or something flat and it’s interactive so you can play with the sound however you like with simple swipes. It saves the massive rat’s nest of wires older models have. I’ve used a couple of projected ones in classes and they behave exactly the same as a real one that you saw. The audio goes into a file and you get a bunch to stitch together into something workable. Most songs are like that now you have sound parts and the person who gives you lyrics so you stitch it together as the lyrics say and find the right background to fill in.
I wonder if you have seen the skit they did on Saturday Night Live about ABBA. It was a fake commercial for an album called “ABBA Christmas.” ABBA had supposedly released a Christmas album with a bunch of new Christmas songs on it as well as remakes of a ton of their old songs with new Christmas lyrics. , My favorite was the remake of Chiqitita remade as Frostytita, complete with the weird snowman from that original video. Before they started singing that one, they explained that Frostytita looked happy, but, the fake Agnetha said, “We know the truth.” Then the woman who was playing Bjorn said in a very funny voice, “She’s really depressed!” It was hilarious!!! When they talked, they had pretty good fake Swedish accents. It was funny to try to watch them try to stay in character and not crack up laughing! They proceeded to sing about Frosty Tita being depressed because she was 17 and didn’t have a boyfriend. 17 is an allusion to Dancing Queen. They have the costumes and the dancing of ABBA down really well in that skit, so it is really, really really funny!
I ought to go when I go to Europe. Now you and Charlotte ought to visit Elvis Presley's Graceland in Memphis, TN. Their visitor center there now has a museum.
excellent video Shawn and Charlotte from the ABBA The Museum in Stockholm, Sweden! Join us as we take you on a full tour of this awesome interactive exhibition that opened back in 2013. Along with that, we both become the fifth members of ABBA by performing on the large stage together with Björn, Benny, Frida, and Agnetha! I can't wait to see the next Adventure on the channel Shawn. keep the good Adventure up on the channel. 😀
