BOYA BY-XM6-S2 Wireless Microphone Kit Review/Test (Sponsored) | Tuesdays with KIA

Today I will be reviewing the BOYA BY-XM6-S2 Wireless Microphone Kit from BOYA! This is a great option if you're looking for a wireless microphone kit, the integrated microphone sounds natural and smooth, the included lavalier microphone while not as smooth being somewhat mid-forward is a nice alternative option to have. The biggest drawback to this microphone is the fact that like most lavalier microphones it has an omnidirectional polar pattern so it won't reject off-axis noise.

for those wondering about the first closeup that was a pickup shot and for some reason I had the lights at 50% instead of 100 so I couldn't get them to work properly for the greenscreen

I agree the transmitter's microphone is really nice sounding, I think the included lav is a bit too bright has alot of issues with sibilance

The mic is able to go stereo. R1, R2 are able to occupy L and R channels respectively.
