This is an amazing short documentary about Pidgin as a language and as a Nigerian myself I'm happy to see this. So ill say make my comment in Pidgin:
Dis documentary too sweet abeg, my bodi tranga as I dey watch. Di way yu take explain too make sense die. Naija pidgin boku, and if person say e wan understand am e dey change as Afrobeats dey plenti words join am. I fit tok say you fit divide Naija pidgin into four:
    1. Lagos Pidgin
    2. Warri Pidgin
    3. Bini Pidgin
    4. Port Harcourt
Dis four so na say because dis places na waterside, and na were slave masters take dey buy slaves for colonial era so.
I know say if men see dis wan dem fit start to dey drag am sha 😂.

9ja Pidgin is a Creole (language), which is the 14th most spoken language in the world, and the 1st most spoken language in Africa. It’s a proper language with verbs, nouns, pronouns, adjectives etc, worlds like “Una”, “Dey”, “Commot”, “Sabi”, “Wetin”, “Abeg”, “Abi”, “Na wa”, “Oya”, “Nko” etc are a few examples. Over 65, 9ja words and phrases have been added to the Oxford English Dictionary (OED), from 2020 till date. 9ja pidgin keeps expanding in words, phrases and slangs,❤🇳🇬.

The language was started across the West Coast of Africa before Ghana, Nigerian, Sierra Leone etc were independent countries as they are now. So no country started speaking Pidgin first. Know it was a language that evolved to sell your own people into slavery in the Americas, so nothing to be proud of in fact

Just for the records oga blogger, pidgin na the old Bendel state get pidgin however I will give it to Warri (Delta)people that has fine tuned it. If Warri people speak pidgin it is so smooth that you will forget that na pidgin he de speak. Yoruba pidgin is still developing because if you listen to their movies is always mixed with yoruba and english, always a elm and enhin in their sentences. The igbo seriously they prefer to speak their language it is not as widely spread within their deeper cultural areas however their business men are forced to adopt the pidgin english. The Hausa they are on board too with pidgin but the further you go into the villages pidgin looses its popularity. Pidgin has been adopted as a convenient, common, popular way of communication which is great
