      Nigerians are the last people on earth to be racist to a white person. Nigerians are overtly friendly and call a white person Oyinbo, Oyibo, Ebo, depending on what part of the country you are in. Calling a Nigerian racist in Nigeria is a BIG FAT LIE.

    3:33 The resources aren't limited here. We're just struggling to use them properly.

    • @JoVolkov
      @JoVolkov Місяць тому +14

      He means the resources available to the average Nigerian to better their lives. which is in fact true! the average Nigerian doesn't have access to basic resources that should at least be provided by the government to better their lives let alone even get more to power or innovate the economy.
      I would know this because I'm Nigerian. So Joe Rogan is absolutely spot on on this! lets not act WOKE and delusional and be truthful and honest with ourselves, you know he's fu*king right.
      And yeah, you're also right, we are struggling to use them(our resources) properly due to our useless, corrupt and selfish government, but that doesn't change the fact of what Joe Rogan said, "we have access to limited resources"........ As an average Nigerian, not our natural or human resources.

    To the guy admitting that they are clever but concluded “they decided to go dark”, NO. They mostly work very hard. Very few go dark in a country of 230 million. That’s why 🇳🇬has 3 new of the people of the wealthiest black Americans & 2 of the recent $billionaire entrants on the Forbes $billionaires list. From the Calendly founder to the Esusu founder to the GIP CEO, 🇳🇬s mostly are go-getters. Not many are scammers but most are very hard working. We tell our children that “nobody has two heads” so if it can be done then our kids can achieve it. The guy in London saying they are racists is being less than honest. I bet you they were very warm & hospitable as we saw in the rest of the interactions with the young white guys later in the video.

    1. Nigeria has 200 million people living in a space that is SLIGHTLY larger than the US state of Texas, ergo there is pressure and competition for resources
    2. Even though we are all Black, there are over 400 different ethnicities - and they are all in competition.
    3. Because of the colonial psyche, Nigerians place a premium on formal education and white collar success, ergo they won't stop until they are at the top. Failure is equal to disgrace
    4. Because of the massive corruption, Nigerians do not look to the government for ANYTHING. If YOU want it, then YOU have to get it
    The above are just some of the factors that have forced Nigerians to be as successful as we have been.
    Signed, A Nigerian Sociologist😉

    So many white British people understand or speak a good amount of Yoruba in SE London so I don’t even bother say anything secretly in Yoruba around them anymore. I’ve had too many surprises 😅

      They were your colonizers and enemies. It benefited them greatly to understand what your people were saying in order to thwart any attempts you may have had to stop their exploitation.
