See brother this is the himt criteria which is minimum according every other institute check weather u fulfill that or not Passed in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as a separate subject with minimum 50% marks in English at 10th or 12th standard, AND passed three year’s Diploma with 60% marks OR passed Four years Degree including Lateral Entry, with 50% marks, in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication / Communication Engineering, or Electronics and Instrumentation, or equivalent. OR Passed in 10th Standard, with English as a separate subject with minimum 50% marks in English, AND passed in Diploma with 60%, AND passed Three years Degree through Lateral Entry with 50% marks in the streams mentioned above. The diploma / degree Courses must be recognized by any State or Central Government or AICTE. Maximum 35 years of age at the time of course commencement

Hey there...i see ur bit confused on the admission criterias. As per the criterias i know...only Anglo Eastern needs a PCM of 60% which u are just short by .1 . Am not sure whether intake would be possible there.But lot colleges dont have the 60 PCM criteria for ETOs.Research more on the colleges. All the Best.

I researched about it and found that Great Eastern, Tolani, Samundra and others do not require it. Anyway, thanks for replying again. Are you currently serving as an ETO?
When u will go on board there are various manuals and daily work done u have to read and understand the history of ship and this things comes under ur routine maintenance in ur course they will teach u but u just have to know how to apply by reading doing or asking to your senior .
Check the criteria for eto pre sea training every institute has different and then if u fulfill that criteria then call to institute and ask for selection process they will guide u.
