I just received my pair of black Cafe Racer gloves from Indy Ridge yesterday and put about a hundred miles on them so far today in 100 F + Central CA. I pulled my card out of my wallet, pumped gas, and made a phone call with them on way easier than my old gloves. I've been impressed with them so far and wanted to see if there were any reviews on UA-cam. Happy to find yours.
Thank you for taken the time to watch. They have been the best pair of gloves I have owned hands down.
Yo I’m from Merced, Ca where might you be from mate in the Central Valley ?
@@neveragain9380 I am a Lemoore-on.
The voice over review is excellent. I’d love to see a comparison video of all the different gloves that you’ve tried to give us the full picture of your glove knowledge.
That's a great idea! I have a ton that's for sure.
@@BryTheBiker I would also enjoy hearing your thoughts about all of the past gloves you have tried. Also I would be curious about how you think they fit compared to other brands of gloves sizing. I know from my experience that some glove brands you measure according to their sizing chart and they are either right on or not very consistent in size. Thanks Bry
This is awesome!!!! Thanks so much Bry! Made my day.
Glad you like! Can’t wait for my leather and denim gloves to show up Saturday!!! My trip in two weeks will get them a good 2k break in ;-$
Never have tried this brand before. I have always wore black leather highway patrol driving type gloves or tall gauntlets over the winter they work alright. Sometimes I wear full finger type weight lifting gloves on bikes yet they are getting hard to find or really expensive. I wear mechanics style textile glove pretty much all the time all year long because I have Raynaud's disease in my hands, inflammation in the hands probably arthritis, and carpal tunnel in both wrists so good gloves I am always looking for them. Never cared for the armored knuckle gloves all I have tried a few different ones so far they usually feel bulky restricting movement or getting in the way. The construction of these leather gloves you are wearing look like they have great movement and have enough cushion without being bulky to protect against vibration from handlebars reducing fatigue which is excellent. Thank you Bry 👍
They make a few style of gloves an I really like how they perform. If you get a pair let me know how you like them.
This has decided it. I'm buying the pair we discussed probably. Customs will take me for a ride but sure look. Great video Bry :)
Thanks for watching and you kind words!!!
Those are some good looking gloves. If not for the Roland sands gloves I just got I’d be inclined to pick up a set of these. I love the tan leather look over the black leather that is so common for gloves
Be sure to check out their leather and denim ones as well.
Good topic cover I enjoyed it all and well said…….stay safe and keep well …. 😊
Thanks, you too!
I really wish I had known about these gloves or seen this review before ordering the pair I just ordered. I didn’t get the Odin for that gimmicky reason you mentioned. I might just return the ones I bought and get a pair of these! Nice review!
Glad I could help! If you do get them please let me know how you like them!
I like them and their denim and leather are nice too. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! I ordered the brown and denim ones for my trip in two weeks so I will be sure to post a review.
Great, thorough review! Thanks
Thanks for watching! Really happy with them. Make sure you check out the boots they make they are just as good.
Thank you for the very informative video. I was watching a UA-cam video the other day and noticed these gloves and admired them, but had no idea where to purchase them. This is so ironic that I found your channel and this video. Definitely going to check them out. Again, thank you. ~The Squaw
I can not say enough about the gloves and the company. If you order directly please tell the owner Steve I sent you his way please :-)
@@BryTheBiker Absolutely 👍🏻
No dislike cool video
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the vid
Thanks for watching :-)
Nice i was looking at oden but look like I need to check this out.
I think you will be very happy with them! Thanks for watching.
@@BryTheBiker yeal got nice selection kinda digging the gray and denim look
Awesome gloves and great review. Solid quality leather and great detail in the design.
Couldn't agree more! Thanks for watching!
+Dark Lens I really love them!
I have a horrible luck when it comes to finding gear to fit & feel good. Gloves have been no exception. I appreciate your thorough in depth review. Wish I had seen it before buying the last 2 pair I bought, but I have bookmarked the site. I have a feeling my new ones won't last long. These Indie Ridge look durable & sound a lot more comfortable with your perspective. Though I may not even wait for the others to wear, as good as these look. I would like to know how the knuckle area feels on these? I've always shied away from gloves that have the knuckle protectors.
* I'm not one to nag & it's not my business, but in case your wife needs to hear it from a woman.. Please consider wearing gloves... I've been down as a passenger & riding my own. It's your first instinct to catch yourself with your hands. You have pretty ones... protect them. ;)
Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave such a thoughtful comment. I don't find I feel the knuckles when I ride. I have had other gloves where they felt like that prevented movement but these do not. As far as the wife not wearing gloves your 100% spot on there. Are a rule she always wears them but this is clearly one ride where she didn't. Having gone down before yes you want your hands fully protected and that why I ride with Indie Ridge as they are so comfortable and durable. I have reviews on their other gloves as well if you want to check them out. If you do order them please let me know how they work out for you.
@@BryTheBiker Just what I wanted to hear. Best feeling is not feeling like they're there & don't hinder movement. I appreciate it. I will check out the others. I have Winter covered for now. My Joe Rocket mesh gloves that I love for warmer weather are wearing out & I'll need some new ones for Summer riding. We all have those days where we squid/skip some gear, here & there. Even if we do try to be ATGAT. Glad to hear she protects herself on the norm. Thanks! I will check out more of your videos. :)
@@sherriisaac9987 the leather and denim gloves are now my favorite 3 season glove. They have such a great look to them and they move as much if not more air then the mess gloves I have tried. If you have any questions when ordering Steve the owner of Indie Ridge is great about making sure you get what you need if you want to call and talk to them.
@@BryTheBiker Cool! I will try the denim for Summer. Just checked your video on those. *Subbed to your channel.
@@sherriisaac9987 Thank you for the sub means a lot!
Thanks for the thorough review, I just ordered the denim/leather pair 🤙
Sweet let me know how you make out. I love the leather and denim for warmer days. What color did you get?
@@BryTheBiker Will do 🤙Got the black with blue denim(looks blue, maybe black) 🤷♂️ Kinda goes with my Bike Sand Dune and black accents 😃
@@FLYANDRIDE15 sweet!
Thumbs up to you those are nice gloves good info keep safe catch you later
Thank you, I will Mr G!
I have a pair of REV'IT Cayenne Pro Gloves. The tech touch never really worked. The seam on one of the the fingertips curled down which caused a problem one of the fingers that partially worked.
After several years of use the armor on the left knuckles is starting to cause pain to the top of my hand so it’s time for a new pair. These are some that I am considering to purchase.
My wife makes fun of me as I have a bag full of gloves even a new pair of these but I always go back to using this pair.
@@BryTheBiker I was going to post that I was thinking about ordering these and another pair… if I do it quietly nobody will ever know. lol
@@AnAmericanPatriot1555 lol. These and denim and leather is a nice year round combo
Great Vid man. I'm going to go ahead and get a pair for myself.
Good choice! I have been really happy with all of their stuff. Please let me know how you like them when you do.
What were the measurements you took From your hand and what size did you get? How did the sizing run?
I wear large gloves and these are a perfect fit. They are a bit tight when you get them but they break in and form to your hands for a very nice fit. I would give Steve the owner or his team a call at 1 (323) 207-9181 if you wanted to go over your sizing and what might fit you best. If you call please tell them I set you. Let me know how you make out.
Nice. Do you still ride with these, an/or on your next pair of new ones?
I still want this pair , I had news ones but go back this pair still
They look like they could be a good summer gloves for the U.K., but unfortunately they are nearly £150 here, I guess that’s close to $180!
Ouch sorry to hear that! I know the overseas cost of gear is high that stinks!
Does your passenger know she has to wear gloves too? She's not going to levitate safely to the curb when you get in an accident.
She does but she didn't when we filmed this. But as a rule she always does.
I feel like I somehow managed to get awesome product placement as you scrolled past my face on Instagram 😂
I wear sport gloves that have been great for the Spring and Summer but come Fall I don't think they will be warm enough. These gloves look great - solid build quality at an impressive price point.
The only feature I don't see is a hardened slider on the palm area - otherwise I'd totally buy a pair for the colder months.
:-) Glad you enjoyed the product placement LOL. We need to catch up and do a dual vlog since you'r a PA guy.
The Velcro on the Odins are absolute garbage. I'm thoroughly disappointed in them. These will definitely be my next glove purchase
I ordered 2 pairs of Odins. One set was two different sizes the second set the thumb flaps where two different sizes.
Indie Ridge makes great stuff and they stand behind them. I think you will be very happy.
Thank you for watching.
I order me some last week taking your word that they good glove if like the gauntlet winter glove ill order me some the leather and jeans ones
Nice, let me know how you like them!
@@BryTheBiker sure thing I hit them up for free pair couple emails back and forth didn't go no where.
I actually have the Odin Heavy Hitters and love them except for the fact, on long rides, my fingers get a little numb sometimes.
I know you made this a couple years ago but any issues with these??
They are still great i still use them. I got the newest version of them the liner inside is nicer.
Good looking gloves. Found you on the Facebook group.
Thanks, I have a first look video coming Thursday of their Brown Leather and Denim gloves. I just subbed to your channel I look forward to checking it out tonight.
Bry The Biker awesome, I’ve been thinking about getting new gloves because mine don’t have knuckle armor.
@@DesertMoPho I love there style they really stand out. www.indieridgeusa.com/collections/all-gloves what gloves do you use now?
i have these same gloves and they are WAY WAY too slippy...not a fan..there boots are the best ever though
I find that wore off in the first 50 miles.
For winter riding; would you recommend getting a larger size to wear a glove liner or are they insulated?
They are not insulated so I use hand guards and heated grips with them. The do my a gauntlet style glove that might do better in colder weather but it is still not insulated. But it would block the wind going up your arm sleeves.
@@BryTheBiker really appreciate the reply. Thanks & ride safe
@@juanaguilar7458 Sure always happy to help! Stay safe out there.
That was a great review. How do they work pushing the GoPro buttons?
I don't find there to be an issue. Maybe a little harder then a thin glove but had no issue stopping or starting it.
@@BryTheBiker Thank you for the info. I just may get a pair.
Nice video. Do you know are these made in the USA or just designed here? Can't see anything on their site
They are just designed in the US. They are a premium quality I have a few styles of their gloves.
@@BryTheBiker Ok, Thanks
Bry, what's the hottest temp you've comfortably worn these gloves in?
Did you get your brown & denim gloves yet?
I'm in central Kentucky so we really don't have a "Spring" or a "Fall" per-say lol. But during the summers it's humid, muggy, and can get into the high 90s and on some rare occasions, the mercury bulb will hit 100+.
I have worn them into the high 80's. Denim ones arrives this week and I have a unboxing and first thoughts video posting next week. I will be wearing them on my two trip starting this Saturday so I should have a lot of feedback on them for my follow up review.
