Siamese Air-Maze are very breathable but I wouldn’t recommend them if you are driving quickly. Not particularly robust. Similar but stronger are the Revit dirt 4.
I live in very hot and humid climate. Would the Urbane Pro be a better option or the Action Pro. Also, the Goldtop Viceroy look good. Do they have touch sensitivity on their fingers? How comfortable are they in hot weather?
Somebody please explain to me why black is a good color in the summer? I suppose if you are sitting by your computer it isn't so bad. I hate the fact that my motorcycle seat is black. The choices are limited in that regard.
Doesn’t show stains and looks good, that’s probably the main reason. However, lighter colors also trap in your body heat, dark colors will draw more heat away from your body which then especially on a motorcycle can be dissipated with wind, so maybe there’s something to that as well. Lighter colors are good for very high heat and direct sunlight, otherwise darker colors can actually be better.
Just to expound on that, imagine trying to cool an engine, would you want to cover it in some type of heat reflective material or would you rather have a material that absorbs and dissipates heat? Most cases probably the former, unless you’re putting it in an environment that’s hotter than the engine itself and reflecting the heat coming in is more important than dissipating the heat being produced. That’s kind of similar to colors in summer, just with lower temps.
My summer gloves are annoying me so far this year, hands get chilly. Might swap to a leather pair for the next few weeks. Is there such a thing as a wind proof summer glove?, or am I just dumb for asking. I'm a newbie. Maybe summer gloves should be illegal here in Ireland. What summer......
What an odd comment. It's just a descriptive term of what it looks or acts like. It literally means fake leather.. As in synthetic, faux, not leather but looks like.. Don't worry the marketing words can't hurt you.
@@bobmoshersmonsters You completely missed the point. Leather can't be vegan. Therefore, it's technically false advertising because it's not leather at all. If it's fake leather, then it needs to be marketed as such. "Vegan" leather is just a way to make people think they're buying something they really aren't. Just like how vegans name their fake "meat" foods after the real thing. There is no real chicken or beef in their "chicken" or "beef" veggie foods.
@cujoedaman "If it's fake leather, it needs to be marketed as such." - Do you think people are confused by the word vegan? Do they think vegan leather/meat means real? I think by now, most people are smart enough to know it means it's fake. Like I said previously, it is just describing what it is faking and that it doesn't use any animal products to make it. It's not difficult for most of us to understand.
@@bobmoshersmonsters Regardless, fake leather is never even close to the abrasion resistance and strength of real leather. There’s a reason bikers wear actual leather, because it’s the safest material. So in this instance, while they may know it’s fake leather, they may not know fake leather is much less safe, so calling it leather is misleading marketing.
Alpinestars Copper. £40. Fully vented, suede palms. Textile backs. So, so comfortable.
Do we speak about UK summer or like Greek summer with 35 40 Celsius? cause those gloves looks really bulky for HOT summer
This line up is for UK "summer"
anything above 75 degrees causes english people to suffer heatstroke.
Rukka Airium 2.0 are the best summer glove, super light and breathable

The two Merlins are a good price. Good air flow for Thailand.
How would you compare ORSA 4 gloves with Revit Dirt 4 or Sand 4? Which one of these would you recommend for hot weather riding?
Hi! For hot weather we would suggest the KNOX ORSA OR4 or the Sand 4. - Iza
Knox Orsa Or4 seems the most safe.

Hi! The Urbane Pro might be the better option for much better air flow. Goldtop gloves do not offer touch sensitivity. - Iza
@@UrbanRiderlondon Thank you for your reply. I just saw that there's an option of the Action Pro as well. How do those compare with the Urbane Pro?
Really want something in white for when I'm stuck sitting in the sun 🥵

These look very thick for summer gloves 😮

Hi, I'm afraid that summer gloves will be usually vented so won't be waterproof. Please have a look at more mid-season models - Iza
2:22 "Vegan leather" is a BS marketing hype "feel good" term, as there is nothing leather about it.

Totally agree, it's a misleading marketing BS term, with absolutely zero real leather content at all, but various types of plastics etc
