I love all the comments here downplaying this AFV , as an ex British infantryman that has seen real combat / fighting, I for one would really not like to come up against something like this yes it could be easily taken out in certain situations as with everything in a war zone but make no mistake this thing is a absolute beast in the right hands as long as it is deployed in the right environment and using the right tactics,

This is БМПТ (Combat Machine Support Tank, tank support combat vehicle... TSCV. This machine does not fight alone. It is designed to increase the firepower of tank units, fights very well in urban conditions and is much more survivable than a few infantrymen with ATGMs and a machine gun. An interesting concept.
That theory has already been thoroughly debunked in Ukraine. Idk Russia doesn't just copy US doctrine like China, they aren't going to come with anything better on their own 😂
Terminators aren't unstoppable but they did a great job while making it. It would be really good in a urban warfare.

A beast of a machine.
I’ve gotta say there is just something menacing about a platform with dual cannons.
Very unconventional but they made it work!
I imagine that thing will rip through fortifications with ease since it essentially has the firepower of 2 fighting vehicles.
Also I am curious if it can be loaded with 2 different types of ammo simultaneously aka incendiary in one cannon and ap in the other?
Personally I would like to see some vids of the absolutely terrifying SU-57’s performing their ‘denazification’ duties in Ukraine!
Sadly, none of the SU-57's survived their attack runs into the poor territory of Ukraine because of those pesky insects, and their nasty Stingers.
But yea... it might be menacing if the vision ports weren't so clear of a target. A 12.7mm round to each sight, they are BLIND, and soon as some-one sticks a head out, they are the next victim.
To be honest, 800 rounds is not much... Forget the missiles, gimme another thousand rounds please!

Not really - development was started long before Chechenia - during Afghan war. List go Object 781 and 782, than Object 787, than Object 199... Also there is a two types of ATGM - standard tandem HEAT Ataka and the thermobaric Ataka. Gun elevation is -5 up to +45 degrees and ATGM is - 5 up to +25.

Reality does not work that way, they have to be brought into storage facilities first and that's when the kalibr missiles using the data given to them from military satellites and spies on ground strike.

The 23mm caliber you're talking about is consumed by the auto-cannons utilized on planes and helicopters which means that Ukrainians likely won't use it at all.

You have your designations incorrect. The Russian army fields BMPTs with a 5 man crew BUT WITH SHIELDED ATGMs. Look at the footage in your own video. See the differences in configuration.

The hull of the T-90 literally *is* a T-72 hull.

There is no need for Ratel or any other obsolete vehicle. USA dumped enough Javelins or NLAWs to Ukraine to provide firepower for anyone in the world who wants to deal with armored vehicle. Syrians already got some ukrainian supplies and are waiting for Turks to come.
I'm sorry old man, but the Ratel is a lightly armoured APC or if fitted with a 20mm auto-cannon, it enters the IFV class but that auto-cannon isn't even stabilized.
It can be easily dealt with a 14.5mm HMG and numerous other assets available while the BMPT is a tank and as such its pretty much immune to the Ratel's auto-cannon and ATGMs from the front.
Dual 30mm vs a single 20mm? less than half the firepower. Russian ATGMs are also the gold standard, a Kornet just ammo racked a Challenger 2.

The Javelin system were so worthless in the open ground around Donbas that the Canadian sniper and his buddy that got worshipped as false prophet by your kind fled out and made an interview, and one of the words said by his buddy is how useless the Javelin was, the system was too short-ranged and whenever they tried to close the distance, they were frequently spotted and fired from 4km away. Just for reference, Ukraine only received the Javelin model with base CLU that only achieve 2.5km lock-on distance. The Javelin is already pointless, a weapon system designed for close range fighting like NLAW definitely won't have a chance to outrange the enemy as well.

It's actually very good because it has better chances in urban combat than a tank and it's a very good support vehicle.
Tell this to your tankers when they are forced to fight in urban areas, or in open areas against tanks supported by large numbers of infantry with ATGMs

Good tank against infantry with Nlaw and Javelin
not really.. its just another big fat target..it can't stop GPS guided weapons' or IR and thermal guided ATM's and the smoke only last for a couple minutes...enough time to reload a Javelin and you should be aware if this tank pops smoke for protection the crew is blinded by their own smoke and can't fire back...yeah just another tin can for the Ukraine's to kick around for fun..

Javelin is failing and batteries are scarce, M777s are sitting ducks for Orion, Krasnipol, and Iskander, and Himars (all 4 of them) are all of the former.
Anything is easy to kill with the right weapons. It doesn't mean the weapon isn't useful. Every weapon is still important in war even your fitness level, fist fighting skills, hand gun, rifle, grenade, knife, rope, grapple hook, radio, first aid kit, etc etc etc etc they are all important on the battlefield although they can all be destroyed. That's called war.

I think this "termintator" is very vulnerable to any HE, what I mean is its lethal v infantry but in order to render it unusable you only need high explosive round, maybe even mortar round due to the fact it consist of "fragile" 30mm cannons and whats more important - those anti-tank rockets (will ignite if hit by HE). On paper it has great firepower but easily destroyed even if the main armor was not penetrated, you end up with a T-72 chasis without any weapons = useless
You are the "gamer historian guy" dude these vehicles are for support not for main attack. These vehicles are used to support MBT's and used for fast mobility...

BMPT Terminator and Armata T-14 are total flops. The difference is that Terminators were at least deployed somewhere by the Russian military. The Russian Army tested them in Syria, where they supposedly did well, against poorly trained rebels who were not well armed. In Ukraine, however, the Terminators were a total failure. The concept of a very heavy machine weighing 48 tons with not very good mobility seems to have failed.

this BMP "terminator" is nothing new: the dual canons are 30mm= low effectivity (the old german Guepard had 35mm dual canons and much more punch), all the new western similar tanks have much stronger canons and similar capabilities in launching missiles and many are wheeled so much better mobility...
