  • This is Episode 2 in a series where I test the use cases and limits of what the Shaper Trace can do and if using this tool for this application becomes to inefficient. In this episode I use the Trace to create a .svg file for my miscellaneous sockets that have been rolling around in my toolboxes for years.
    Question:
Is using the Shaper Trace the best tool for this job?
Comment below your thoughts for this use case and if you have any other suggestions for new tests with the Shaper Trace. Also, tell me what you are using the Trace for and how it has impacted your workflow and your success throughout jobs. Thank you for watching.

Nice project. I just picked up everything Shaper has, a couple of weeks ago. P.S. I would glue a recessed rare earth magnet into the bottom of each socket well on the next one.

Well done! Keep it up. Can’t wait to mill some metal too.
