Completely bypassed actual McLean after getting off GW Parkway, next thing on video is Tyson’s Corner area which is between McLean and Vienna, VA. Still, enjoyed much of the drive. Beautiful summer day in DC and NOVA.
Yeah, this is exactly right. The best route actually would have been to take a left off of Route 123 onto Kirby Road and then Old Dominion into McLean proper. That gives you a better sense of what McLean is like. The McLean zip code has the highest average housing price in the DC metro (see Washingtonian April 2023), and Kirby Road is one of the reasons why.
