Honestly I have watched many RS lore videos and this one is by far one of the best. By focusing on one entity and making it flow so smoothly gave me a better understanding of the lore. Really good and looks forward to more of these.
The narration is great, so well paced, clear and easy to digest to the haunting tune of Elder Daughter. I just started a Xau-Tak based D&D campaign, so perfect timing! Could you some kind of theorycrafting/overview on why Guthix might be able to use Shadow anima (as he did when he made the World Guardian and potentially the Edicts)?
Yo Charlie brilliantly done. I regularly watch your videos this is the best one yet. Highly immersive with the haunting music. Have been a fan bigger fan now! Keep up the great work! I thirst for the next lore video! There's also a great story about sliske and the guy exploring the mwuanu related to xau tak
@@QuintusManilus I like to use runescape official music as it adds to the ambience! The music you're looking for is "Elder Daughter" Search your ingame playlist for it! :D
@CharlieScape I hope so too! Love prideslayers content but tbh this video was much easier to watch and learn from than some of his. Excellent lore video! Ps new sub :)
Exposing the hidden secrets of our lord, Zaros, huh? Zaros...Zaros knew. He knew of Vos. He made a covenant with Vos. He knew Jas would never grant him elder godhood. Zaros threat to Jas after the whole affair was not empty: Zaros always has a plan, and a threat is never done at a moment's notice without excruciating calculation. Zaros would vanquish the elder gods one way or another. He sought a covenant with Vos: power in exchange for souls, a LOT of souls. An empire's subject's worth of souls. He created the funerary rites and urns to guide the souls of the deceased to Erebus, straight to Vos's maw. The funerary urn of Miasma, that was its purpose. As Armadyl pondered, Zaros didn't create the largest empire in history just to see it crumble. He created it to supply a steady stream of souls to Vos. It was the largest necromantic ritual in history, lasting pretty much all of the 2nd age. Zaros knew, he knew! His subjects didn't...
Runescape's main story has always been pretty fascinating. I'm glad someone's finally shedding some light on it.
@@iunnor thank you for watching, and I totally agree. The story has so much character, I can’t wait to see where it takes us!!
More more more. Please do more, especially about major quest lines. More on the individual majeraat. More about each city. So much lore!
Thats such a nice comment! Any particular Mahjaraat you'd like to see!?

Great content! Thank you for this beautiful art you are creating

loved it, thanks for the video.
Why would you make this video? To inform the people who don't yet know of Xau-Tak? Do you really think you can save them?
@@Sad-Lesbian hahaha exactly that! I cannot wait to see more of xau tak in a more visual form!

as a runescape player shadow anima is only measured by the amount per porter charge

I'm with you on this! It may have killed the immersion if I'd added this in but we all knew what I meant right? :P
i think it may be worth looking into rasials dialog about the oncoming shadow in "alpha vs omega". it could have Xau-Tak connections
