I saw Bob back in 1978 in Austin TX. Hypnotizing performance. NO Smoke bombs, big explosions flashing lights. Only One Element Bob. So big he did not need a Top ten song in the USA or #1 hit sung by Bob not even a Grammy like all other big entertainers. League of his own Bob on TOP!
He's a prophet his music will never be old. I miss him before he died while I was still in Trinidad but never forgave my old man as my parents saw him in London outside Finsbury Park station in the early 70s
I didn’t grow up on Bob Marleys music but I knew of him through my older cousins who are in there 40’s so I really want to see this because the acting looks on point.
Ziggy and his sister are executive producers. They were on set during the movie. The director, writer, and editor all worked on king richard which won an Oscar for will smith so this movie is in good hands

My dad loved Bob Marley he called him “God Marley” He, took me to the “Peace festival” not the one after the shooting but the one with the politicians. I was 7 years old and dressed in a full yellow polyester suit…😂😂. I dont remember any of it but he had the pictures.
His son Ziggy Marley his wife Rita Marley and daughter Cedella Marley are actually the producers of the this movie and was there right through the process
I’m simply looking for if the director & actor can be iconic as the LEGEND. A kin to Malcolm X,Ray &ALI. The actor did a phenomenal job in “One Night in Miami”
