Totally agree. Stunning landscape. Here in Europe, many of us dribble with lust at the idea of visiting America & soaking in the huge, varied array of natural wonders available on such an epic scale. The only problem is we're all waiting for a chance to visit when the Americans are out for the day 😂
Here in the UK there's a series of valleys in Wales where the air force (British & American) practice low level stuff. Folks gather on the hillsides to watch these guys screaming right past. There's loads of footage on UA-cam if you're interested. Look up 'Mach Loop'

Does it feel weird riding in the Pilot seat while the CPG is flying or do you guys trade off more than we think? The Apache pilots I talked to at a airshow back in the late 90's said, they did both roles and would toss a quarter up sometimes to see which spot they were doing that day, lol. Thanks for the great video.
We trade off flying all the time if we aren’t doing something that requires the CPG to be a gunner. We have annual hour requirements to fly in both seats.

The Helmet has the Battery Box for the ANVIS and on the left side the small one for the Lip Light. So only the two and no more? This is why I ask because in the DCS World Simulator the Apache Gunner has two Nylon Pouch for Lips Light , probably wrong ?
DCS does have some great graphics and realistic cockpit renders. You’ll usually have the lip light battery pack, ANVIS battery pack and a weight bag or block when using goggles.
Give it a shot, it’s a pretty fun job. There’s plenty of times it sucks but every job has those periods. If you want to get paid decent money to fly a helicopter that’s probably the best way to do it.

Yep, you can fly and shoot from both seats. CPG has some more options basically but the backseat can fire every weapon still.
