I just recently subscribed. That was an awesome score!! We got a Pampered Chef Dutch oven one time from a dumpster. I think it was someone's personal illegal dump. It was never used.

Thats a great haul! Those Dutch ovens are just great! May e you should co sidereal keeping 2 and giving 2 away? I'm just thinking that only bc in the future when you can do some serious canning, you will want at least 2 of them! Especially if you're doing tomatoes one pot for par boiling the tomatoes to get the skins off and another for when you're doing things like salsa or spaghetti sauce, even tomato paste or juice. So many different things you can make from tomatoes.. BBQ sauce, steak sauce...etc. also, so many other things to can! Jams, chutneys, preserves, soups, meats as you well know!

Cam, this is awesome!! Our Aldi's sell out of all Dutch ovens day ad breaks. Shocks me they'd throw out 4 perfectly good ones like they're of no value. That's simply disgusting. Super psyched for you finding them. You'll make great use of them! The food haul was the bomb! Doesn't matter they had 2023 expiration dates. They'll last forever! Great job, Woman!

I can't believe they threw away those dutch ovens but what an incredible score for you. I would have been so excited too. I love the enamel dutch ovens. Such a great haul you got. So happy the dumpster is unlocked again and you are able to go back to getting some free food. If I wasn't in my late 60's I would be out there dumpster diving myself.

I was thinking about going to Aldi and buying me one of those Dutch ovens before Christmas! I think they had a mini one too. Thought that would be cool for backing a small loaf of bread or like banana bread.
There was a recall on some quaker granola bars. I found some at a Dollar General that were included in the recall. So glad you got a good haul. It is a shame when they throw away good food and lock it up so it has to go to the landfill.

If you have a food saver you can put cereal in the bags for long term storage. I have ate cereal that I had for 2 years. Still fresh
