I love anchovies as well!. I wish you had visited other regions of turkey but i guess you left. there are many cities with really unique and good food such as gaziantep and trabzon. hope you comeback in the future

Anchovy (We called it Hamsi in Turkish) is very popular in Turkey, especially Black Sea region of Turkey. In there people of Black Sea make pides, bread, pilav (Turkish rice), pickle, salad, köfte, dessert with anchovies.
afiyet olsun. After eating fish, I recommend you to eat pumpkin dessert or tahini halva It greatly reduces the effect of heavy metals and increases phosphorus intake.

Wow, not sure about dessert with anchovies but I'm willing to try it! We both love anchovies so much.

We tried to order it from a few places and they never had it available. Is it seasonal?
