- We made it to Colorado!! The trip didn't start off as planned but I am not mad about ending up in Durango, Colorado. One of my favorite cities!
So we spent the day doing all my favorites! From the BEST coffee spot in Durango to the BEST BURGERS and Ice Cream we've got it covered......we also got some hikes in because balance!

Camping. Colorado. coffee. ice cream and burgers....you speak my language! My hubby wants us to get a tear drop to pull behind our new Outback and I think you're videos are convincing me!

Durango is a favorite destination of mine. It is such a great location to everything beautiful in the area. I plan to go out there in Sept and hope the train is still running then due to season. I too love exploring Colorado in my Subaru. Also always looking for a great coffee shop so thanks for the recommendation. Safe travels

@@MicheleShanklin Thanks for the heads up on the train. Was just out in the Frisco/Breck area a few weeks ago. So bummed I did not make it further west due to not having enough time since I was staying in Denver. I will definitely check out that coffee place. Local coffee shops are like my zen place. Plan for fall is to stay near Grand Junction and explore that area and Moab and then head towards Telluride and Durango
@@rossm7071 fall in the San Juan’s is pure perfection!! I’m actually thinking of fall in Moab/La Sals and a quick drop into Silverton to enjoy rainy days and the aspens as well!
In Silverton Coffee Bear is the best shop and has a roof top deck too if you’ve never been!

We loved our visit to Durango last year and will definitely be back!! My understanding is that you can take dogs on the train to Silverton and if that is the case we will definitely be on board!! Glad all is well with you and Feens 😊

I would LOVE to listen to your experience at the end of the summer about what your experience was working and traveling. I am also a PM and also work remote. My husband and I travel around as well but only via Airbnb. we’ve been concerned about connectivity. I’d love to hear about what your experience was with that, with facilitating calls (noise/video experience), what a comfortable length of time to transition to another location is, etc. As a PM, how have you used your skill set to plan for this travel too 😊 I feel like our PMing always spills into our life somehow 😂
