I’ve watched Lilly Lippeat’s elite career since she was a junior. I was looking forward to seeing her at LSU, but I’m glad she’s doing well at Clemson.
Glad for Iowa State because this was not Clemson’s best performance at all. I would love for Coach Smith to think about the lineups a little more- putting eve on vault right after Rebecca is silly, because Rebecca 99% of the time brings momentum and eve is not the most consistent person to build that momentum. Maybe they lack depth more than I think, but Eve should have only been on floor today. Bars was a shame considering how good this team has been. Anyways, shame for Clemson, the pressure got to them (and I feel like they didn’t take Iowa State seriously as a competitor until beam) but so happy to see the improvement from Iowa State
