A would like to add, yes taxes in Denmark are high, but we also get a lot from that - our kids education are free, health care is free and so on.... Saw a video of a family moved here from USA, they did a compare on taxes and mandatory expenses, Denmark was actually a lot cheaper in the end, making our high taxes and lower income actually leave more money in our pocket than in the USA
well salaries in copenhagen is like 20/25 % higher that in the rest of denmark if you have a salery of 46,000 it would be alot outside copenhagen - and remember tax is from 50 to 65 % and if you dont work the goverment gives you around 15,000 pr month
No, it's 12600(if you don't have kids) before tax. So about 8.000 after tax. If you dont have Danish citizenship single no kids is 6500 before tax. So probably 5000 after taxes. An apartment rent is about 4-5000 for a small one bedroom place.
Average salery is an absolutly useless number ! A fulltime industrial worker can expect half that number ! A craftman, carpenter etc. can expect two thirds. Provided you dont have expensive habbits and a reasonable place to live, you can live well on any of these salary's, but unless you live in the countryside, no way are you going to afford a house !
Could you please give a salary example for senior project manager (+10years experience) in Energy sector. Now I hqve completed 6 job review and in 2 weeks they will dueectly send me salary proposal and I want to learn the range. Please help me
It's very hard to say as it depends on so many factors; the company, the industry, the exact job descriptio etc. But if I should guess, you will get an offer in the 63-73k range if you will work in Copenhagen (before tax).
You are a bit wrong on this one The average salary in Copenhagen is 563.600 DKK, but this mostly applies to the Capital region. According to the danish statistics the salary is 261.000kr on average in Nordjylland, and 335.000kr on average in Midtjylland, and with the average in the capital region being 563.660 kr The reason for that high number in statistics its obviously to the large population of Greater Copenhagen, and Copenhagen city, and with that amount of people, the statistic is misleading. They should divide the statistics up according to the danish regions, not by the whole country.
Cleaning or factory work can work well for anyone with no Danish language skills. If the person speaks English well, it will open up a lot more options like retail and food/restaurant business as well.

True. Salaries are higher in Denmark, and so are living expenses as well.
How do you get to the 65% figure? I think i did the math a while back and it was like 56% or something for the highest bracket.

Have you used some of the tools I talk about in the video? Like jobindex 😀
What about a inmigrant as Welder (Smed in danish)?
You are a bit wrong on this one

Thanks for clarifying. The numbers are indeed higher in Copenhagen and other economic hubs of Denmark.
The high average in the capital region is driven by a few wealthy enclaves in North Zealand.
Is owning Bitcoin being taxed in DK? Its kind of a hygge job, you know
Yep... we probably have the most punishing crypto taxes in the entire world :(

It's probably around 30,000 DKK. But it depends on a lot of factors - private or public bus company etc.
@danishdream I am a Norwegen bus driver who wants to relocate to Danmark. Thank you very much sir 🙏

Very simple - the more you earn, the poorer you become…
Hej Jesper. Thanks for the comment.
Expat? Not immigrant?
Expat as in a person, who's not in their home country (ex-patria) - but not necessarily intending to stay in the new host country like an immigrant.
