Professor Leonard Merch: professor-leon...
How to solve exponential equations when they are able to be manipulated into having common bases. This is a special case where the equation can be simplified into having only one exponential expression on each side of the equation.
You are single handedly saving me from failing pre calc right now
He's preventing me from failing Calc right now 😂😂😂 so much of this stuff comes up again in calc!
what did you think calculus was based on? the language of calculus itself depends upon algebra 2 and trig@david-ue6ed
@david-ue6edCalculus utilizes the things we learned in Algebra 2, these subjects come back with different and more advanced application.
Taking this class again before I take calc, I’m feeling confident because of you!
im attempting to learn all the way to super symmetry at home. im beginning with the fundamentals to master them and I want to pay homage bc homage is owed. Professor Leonard thank you so much for taking the time and sharing your love and passion and career with us for free nonetheless. When a person does something like this to this detail its bc they have a true passion for the subject. Im honored to share the same lifetime. You can tell when someone loves the subject bc they can make something so complicated become so simple. This is true genius. Being able to explain something so everyone can understand. thank you thank you thank you. im excited to tackle the later more advance math but not until I master the infrastructure :)
thats wonderful to hear! i hope you succeed in your journey!
Thank you, Professor, great job keep it up! A world of knowledge u share!
23:47 He factors it, and that's totally fine. But you can also use the quadratic formula here and get the same result. I sometimes have issues with mixing up numbers or dropping signs when I'm doing calculations by hand, so any time I can put it into a calculator to verify accuracy, I like to. Hope that helps some of you out there.
I’m happy you’re uploading
Thanks professor!
Awesome review, it is like having a talking math textbook.
You helped me 8 years ago to pass my uni-level maths course, and I thought I would never achieve it. Now I am back here to continue my journey, where I left off, and twelve into computer/ mathematics world. that you so much Professor!!!
Professor Leonard, thank you for Solving and Explaining Exponential Equations with Common Bases. This material is simple to follow as long as students knows the laws of exponents with common bases.
Professor Leonard, by your best estimate do you think we can expect the linear algebra series by September, 2021?
Indeed linear algebra course by Prof. Leonard would be such a gift!

Can't watch it now, it's midnight gone here, I'll watch it tomorrow morning!! Thank you for uploading 😉
Thank for this playlist very helpfull!! : )
Perfect.
My man.
You are the best in the world....
I was always under the impression that while this rule, while it works MOST of the time, doesn't work ALL of the time. I know that this is not always true when talking about complex numbers, but I feel as though there are some other examples, other than trivial cases such as a base of 0 or 1. Can you please confirm or deny?
Yeooo I’m taking online precalc thanks bro
what is the technique he uses to factor the quadratic equation at 24:12? I would like to learn that.
Found it!
@@fernandolozano9898 what was it?
@@destinypro2009 he covers the factoring trick in this video ua-cam.com/video/HpFeF7nt5kM/v-deo.html
@@shafeekbakhach6046 Thanks
No linear algebra yet :’(
Big brain
Can we take this course after finish the intermediate algebra playlist?
Yep!
Please make video on
1)Newton Raphson method
2)Bisection method
Please 🥺🙏 for my exams i will be thanksfull to you 😭
